๐ Heartbreaking news from Kherson.
Today, October 27, Volodymyr Obertas, press officer of Ukraineโs 34th Marine Brigade, was killed by an explosive device in Kherson while accompanying medical personnel.
Volodymyr was the talented man behind the wonderful videos weโve received from the 34th Marine Brigade.
He was originally from Oleshky, the Russian-occupied town across the Dnipro River. He dreamed of returning home.
And here is the heartbreaking irony.
Volodymyr created the video that spread across social media, drawing attention to the desperate situation in Oleshky and helping build momentum for the evacuation of its residents.
Today, on the very first day of the announced ceasefire intended to allow that evacuation, he was killed. Just a few kilometres from his hometown, without ever seeing the outcome of the mission that meant so much to him.
A man who used his camera to show the world what was happening in Ukraine has become another victim of Russiaโs war.
Rest in peace, Volodymyr. ๐ฏ๏ธ๐บ๐ฆ

So, the Melania Trump brokered ceasefire is just a means for Russia to kidnap 1500 people, not allowed to go to Ukraine, only Russia.

This is a terrifying warning sign. Russia is preparing to turn an evacuation into a deportation operation. It will exploit peopleโs desperation for a propaganda stunt, put them through filtration camps, and forcibly keep them under Russian occupation, where they would remain in grave danger.

I saw Ksenia's post last night, messaged her and then cried.
Our city is under fire, everything we know and love is being erased and our friends and family are losing everything.
Every one of my animal rescues from Sivers'k, Toretsk and other villages across the frontline involved Ksenia in one way or another.
Every single evacuation west with 30+ animals was coordinated from this house.
Every single animal food delivery started with Ksenia.
Countless times I have walked in carriers filled with cats, kgs of food and received aid from this house.
Ksenia and her family lost their home and Donetsk lost a sanctuary for anyone who loves animals.
This is an unimaginable loss for Ksenia and for #Kramatorsk.
Every day the invaders give me one more reason to hate them and turn my hate and anger into motivation to delete them all.

Two days ago while we were evacuating people from Kramatorsk we discovered Kseniaโs house had been destroyed by Russian drones.
Just a house we could sayโฆ. It was not just a house, what was achieved out of this building is amazing.
Ksenia is an animal volunteer as many of you know and while she was bringing in new animals from the front and organising for animals to be moved to a safer place in Ukraine and beyond she was doing this from the basement and a couple of other locations.
Numerous animal organisations have used this house for their operations too.
From Twitter @penpushermakar asked me if I could help rescue her dog Tori from Kupainsk and on my travels Tori lived in this house for a few days before heading to her new life in Latvia.
While Ksenia was working in the basement, her husband was working on the top floor 3D printing for military operations with multiple printers and circuit board etchers.
It was here we would print profiles and attachments for drones and other things for SOF into the night often standing on the balcony looking for shahed and explosions from the view while sharing stories.
The middle floor was recreational where we met with the military personnel who had just come back from dangerous parts of the front like Chasiv Yar, Lyman, Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions.
I met @AprilHuggett here a few times and @RimaFellaria came here to see our 3d printing too.
This is also where I slept while in Kram.
It is crazy to think of the many more things achieved by other organisations in this house Iโve not included in this post.
Kramatorsk is in crisis right now, we must help as much as possible before Russia wipes all cities off the map.

Me: "I build 3 Dรผsselflows. Worth 3x350โฌ."
Absolutely noone: "What is that?"
Me: "Its basically a DIY Ecoflow with some advantages: You can
- build it your own with little knowledge
- upgrade it
- repair it under field conditions
- throw it around and it still works (dont do that!)
- save a lot of money"
Absolutely noone: "So I can buy all components myself and just put them together?"
Me: "Yes you can. All parts are from Amazon, Ebay or Deutsche Post. In case something is not working later you can just replace that part. If you are unsure: Every Car Mechanic can maintain it if needed."
Absolutely noone: "What can it power? A 1000W heater?"
Me: "Well, thats not the purpose of this energy station. Its there for emergencies. When you want to power neccessary things like a fridge, or a heating mattress. These devices usually need around 60 to 100W. The Duesselflow is able to energise 1000W devices. But personaly I see no sense in doing so. Keep it small I would say."
Absolutely noone: "How much energy is stored in the Dusselflow?"
Me: "Usually one station comes with theoretical 1.280Wh. If you connect a 100W device (like a TV) to it, you can watch 12,8h your favorite movie on Netflix.. Its 1.280Wh : 100W = x hours. Easy math."
Absolutely noone: "What about charging it?"
Me: "Well, THAT point goes to the Ecoflow. The Dรผsselflow has a 20A charger. That means if you fully empty the station you will need 4 to 5 hours to fully charge it. But: Thats not the purpose of the Duesselflow. Its build to be a plug-in-and-forget buffer. Once you have plugged in your gas heating control (!) you will forget the Dusselflow. Because during a blackout it will automatically jump in. When the power comes back the station loades again. You dont need to press buttons or plug something in.
Absolutely noone: "So why dont people buy this cheaper and simpler solution?"
Me: "Why do people buy a Porsche instead of a VW Golf 5?"
