AI memory is the next wave of AI harnesses.
There are so many things yet to figure out, but having models distill memories from raw data seems like an essential process.
BUT, I don't think storing memories in flat files has enough research to justify it yet. @mypennyai
Memory is what allows Claude to learn from experience. In a new Engineering Blog post, we share how “dreaming” helps Claude organize what it’s learned, correct its mistakes, and find what it needs more easily the next time. anthropic.com/research/compo…

Your AI should remember what Maya needs.
Maya's launch, her mentoring, her pilot ambitions and her support workload came up over months of chats. Penny brings them together so your AI can help you prepare a thoughtful 1:1.

I think there is way too much concern expressed about verification of AI output in everyday work due to a risk of factual errors.
It used to be true, but data on more recent models suggest they beat human experts, including PhD specialists, in finding facts and checking claims.
This game. Even if you’re not a fan of either team, you should be watching the #HolyWar right now. 🤙🏔️🏈

The right furnace filter, without digging through old chats.
Some details matter twice a year. Save the filter size in one AI and recall it in another when it's time to order the next one.

Why is AI confidently wrong about you?
You raised your session price to $300 in March. Your AI's memory might still say $250, and it'll put $250 in a client's quote with complete confidence.

Quote the work you actually do.
Your last projects are evidence for your next quote. Penny lets your AI pull together the hours, revision rounds and extra work you've recorded, so the estimate starts from your experience.

Republicans are blaming the Iran war and rising prices for this week's electoral shellacking. Fair enough. But the economic damage didn't begin with the war. It began with indiscriminate tariffs that amounted to a tax increase on American consumers.

Why AI memory hacks fail.
Custom instructions you never touch again. A notes file you paste into every chat. A chat you never close. Every one of them quietly breaks on the day you stop tending it, and a stale memory is worse than none.

Incredible stat right now from Utah:
Total House Vote
Republicans: ~325K
Democrats: ~342K
The Democrats are winning the generic ballot in Utah right now by D+4. Still a lot to be counted, but no statewide race masks one of the bluest shifts in the nation.

A packing list that remembers last summer.
Last summer taught you what to bring. A detail you saved in Claude shows up when you plan the next trip in ChatGPT, and the packing list is better for it.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

When AI doesn't know you, it guesses.
Your knee acts up on downhill runs. Ask an AI for a half-marathon plan and you get the plan it gives everyone, hill intervals included. It fills in the blanks with the most average runner there is.

Why do you have to explain yourself to AI every time?
You open a chat to write a quote for a new client, and before AI can help, you have to explain everything: your packages, your prices, your deposit. Tomorrow, in a new chat, you do it all over again.

Your AI should remember the room above the nightclub.
You tell Claude about the noisy trip. Months later, ChatGPT brings those details back from Penny and helps you choose a quieter stay.

Why does smart AI still feel dumb?
The frontier models are more expert today about more things than any single human. They're not dumb generally. They're just dumb about you.

Let your next run learn from your last two.
Two hot long runs are in your training log. Penny keeps those entries for every AI you connect, so the next plan suggests an earlier start, and the next entry records how it went.

If you’re going to make something with AI, make sure it’s 10,000x better than anything you would have made yourself.
If not, you just come across as lazy not smart :)

Your costs changed. Your AI should notice.
A bigger order deserves a fresh look at the numbers. With Penny, your AI can compare today's ingredient costs with the price you set months ago, then help you draft the reply.

Catch up before the client walks in.
The budget, the pricing request and who makes the decision came up in a chat months ago. Penny lets your AI recall them, even in a different AI app, so you're ready without re-explaining the relationship.
