If only people spent as much time trying to make what people want as they do trying to make people want things they make.

Had so much fun designing & building this with @abhisheknaiidu and @bhatvitthal22 .
Really happy with how it turned out.
one day, you will ask, is it all worth it? and then given whole context of life, family, chasing success, money and what not... you should be able to say it was worth it. And if you want to say it was worth it, then maybe think through how to answer that questions 10 years later

Through all of this, R's father was still with us.
He had helped us identify the hospital. He had stayed with my father. And he decided to remain until we completed the admission.
I didn't know how to thank him.
I kept saying the same two words.
"Thank you."
Again and again.
At one point, he said something I don't think I'll ever forget.
"My other son lives in Bangalore. If something happened to him there, I would also want someone to take care of him."
That was it. No expectation of anything in return.
Just a father imagining another father in the same situation. And deciding to help.

Opus 5.5 or Astra can now create professional-grade 3D outputs with path-traced rendering.
Using Tesseract with your agent, you can simulate how light moves through a 3D scene, bounces off surfaces, casts shadows, and creates reflections.
The video below was created without Blender or video models, and it remains fully editable.

Code review was never really about catching bugs.
It was how a team kept a shared model of the system in their heads.
If agents write the code and agents review it, nobody holds that model anymore. That's the outage you should be planning for.
a lot of designers are ‘coding’ now and it empowering and thrilling and freeing and all that but… the code only holds the truth of what got built not why it was made, or why it was made this way — that truth lies with the customer…

I think we're going to see a new wave of interest in usability.
Chat is hard on the brain. Total opposite of what Don Norman wrote about. 100% holding in your head, remembering things, special modes, etc.
Nobody wants the stuff in their kitchen to be in a different place each time they walk in.
System of record + recognizable display are not going away. What's new is how fluidly we can change state WITHIN those as users.

a lot of "creative" jobs are in my opinion more like "communication" jobs. you have to do a therapist-like act of embodying the troubles and needs of someone else

I don’t even look at design anymore. I just wrote “do good taste stuff” in a markdown file and gave it to an agent.
It’s currently spending three months in Japan on my behalf.
It visits museums, digs through old magazines, and has life changing conversations with people who make chairs and an 88 year old guy named Torakichi who makes fountain pens. Every night it updates the file so I know what kind of person I am becoming.
Apparently the last three days in Kyoto completely changed how I think about layout. I found out about this "new me" from a notification I got while in a Costco parking lot eating a chicken bake.
There’s a second agent turning these experiences into posts about how important it is to get off the computer and experience the world to become truly inspired. A third agent is deciding which of my friends I’ve outgrown. I get a notification when someone is no longer part of my journey. If you're reading this you're probably on that list.
Yesterday a book arrived in the mail. I liked the cover. I just picked it up and thought it looked nice. It felt good.
My smart home alarm went off and my agent told me to put the book down. According to my agent I shouldn't be wasting my time on X.
But this is the new way of designing. If you're not on board you will get left behind. I love it.

“Zomato is down” could mean three very different on your WhatsApp group.
Stock market group → The share price is falling.
Startup group → The app has crashed.
Apartment society group → Delivery boy is waiting downstairs.
