I have a LOT to say about all of this and will on my show today but this was not JUST about Iran and gas prices (although that is significant). Some of this is cultural, social, and the fact that this administration has propped up cruel, unserious, corrupt weirdos who just want to be social media influencers.

The fact that this question needed to be asked is a really pathetic indictment of Donald Trump

obviously, today's Democratic victories can be solely attributed to @ezraklein and @DKThomp writing the book "Abundance"

1. Haley Stevens has liquidated any good will she ever had, a complete embarrassment. 2. If AES had better instincts this would not have happened. 3. Wild that this last-minute fracture might have been avoided if not for CENK UYGUR???

You know what I’d really like? Tell me A Democrat We can do a Democrat A real Democrat, no socialist, no corporate funded neoliberal I'll make you a very good Democrat. One who understands economics, fights for working people, & doesn't need a focus group to make a decision

Because in a democracy you inevitably lose power to the opposition every 2-6 years and you don’t want the guys who take over to be sycophantic weirdos trying to establish the 4th Reich. You want them to be some semblance of normal and believe in peaceful transition of power.
Why do liberals want a healthy strong Republican party?

Thank you @JohnCornyn for your leadership. Racism has no place in Texas. @KenPaxtonTX: will you condemn this blatant racism or will you cower to extremists?
This is the Republican nominee for statewide office. Are other Republican elected officials going to condemn the intolerance and racism, or look the other way while it becomes normalized. This is how great political parties self-destruct. Sad.

New: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton appears to have violated federal ethics law in significant ways when filing recent disclosures of his assets and liabilities, creating confusion about his net worth and holdings, a review by @propublica and The Texas Tribune found. bit.ly/4qVwFHZ

The Democratic Socialists of America are using century-old Trotskyist tactics to infiltrate and subvert the Democratic Party. It’s time to throw them out. @TheAtlantic theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

* Balance the budget, but don't cut MY benefits * Solve climate change, but don't ask me to change anything * Raise wages, but don't make anything cost more * Reduce traffic, but don't ask me to pay a congestion tax People demand change, as long as it's born by other people
the popularity of "why don't they turn off the billboards in times square" shows how many people think of climate change as something some other people out there are doing to them, instead of something we do to each other

Matt Walsh's live reaction to SCOTUS upholding a 100+ year old interpretation of the 14th amendment

I at least got to live for 40 years in a country that looks and functions something like America. The fact that my children are having that opportunity stolen from them fills me with rage so deep I can’t describe it. I truly hate the people who have done this to us.
