Early Voting is done in Kentucky. Going into Election Day: - 210,020 registered Democrats - 193,237 registered Republicans - 30,061 registered Independents/Others According to Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams, with early mail-in voting included, total early voters are at 438,602. That's an increase of approximately 100,000 voters compared to this point in 2022. It's worth noting that three days of no-excuse in-person absentee voting (early in-person voting) was essentially new for the 2022 election. The significant increase in early voting could reflect more people shifting when they cast their ballots rather than necessarily representing an increase in overall voter turnout. More voters may simply be choosing to vote early instead of waiting until Election Day.
