Normalize speaking scripture over yourself on the days you don't feel it, because faith was never meant to run on feelings. Some mornings the word has to do the lifting for you 🙏🏾

I never dodged reading out loud in class. I was praying the teacher would pick the longest paragraph so I could show off my vocabulary and pronunciation. 😭😭

A big part of parenting is sitting with your kids and helping them process their emotions. If you never had this as a child, a big part of reparenting yourself is sitting with and learning to process your own emotions.

Underrated life advice: Keep proof that good things happen to you. Old photos. Kind messages. Positive feedback. Notes from great days. Whatever. Store them in a single place. Call it a Rainy Day Folder. Pop it open on a bad day and watch your mood turn. It's a free reset button.

Modern luxury is the ability to live quietly. No drama. No noise. No pretending to be someone you are not. Just living a low-key life that actually feels like yours. Reading good books. Listening to music. Staring at walls. Going for walks. Watching classic movies. Working on your purpose. Thinking about life and all. Feeling joy in ordinary things. Just that. That is peace.

The only parenting advice I find useful: You can't teach your kids anything. You just have to embody the things you want them to learn. Make a list of the traits and values you want your kids to have. Then make sure you're living by them every single day. That's really it.
