Former Fedorov adviser Serhii Sternenko says brigade commanders were ordered to record videos supporting Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. Screenshots shared by Sternenko describe the videos as a directive from above rather than the independent position of brigades.
He also alleges that soldiers who publicly oppose Syrskyi face reprisals. Sternenko cited a serviceman from the 425th Regiment who posted criticism of Syrskyi and then disappeared from public view, with the account deleted.

Two weeks later, Russian troops invaded Ukraine.

Det er 35 år siden massakren i Beijing natt til 4. juni 1989. I stedet for et bilde av panservogner, deler jeg et bilde som ble tatt av AP noen dager tidligere på Den himmelske freds plass (og som jeg har hengende på veggen hjemme). Det forteller noe om hva Kina kunne blitt.
