In these heart-breaking words, Kareem's mother eulogized him. 💔 Karim Amir Hamid "Saleh" His mother sent us a message saying: "Karim, my moon, how can you not be like the moon? On December 7th, I will tell you about the details of this date... Karim came to sleep in my arms as usual, but I chose for him to sleep in his father's arms due to the limited space... He fell asleep and kept feeling his father throughout the night... At four in the morning, the sounds of bullets and shells rang out... Screams and fear filled the air. My little one sought refuge in his father's embrace, along with his brother Mohammed... And I held onto Yaseen and Yousef in my arms... We wished we could open our hearts and hide them inside. The sounds of shells grew louder, and tears flowed from fear. Then there was a big explosion at the Happy Yemen Hospital. Dust filled the place. I looked right and left to make sure my loved ones were safe... And there I saw Karim in his father's arms, wounded, with blood streaming down his cheek. My voice rose, and my tears reached the sky... Karim, Karim! His father said, "Forgive me, my beloved, I couldn't protect you." The martyr, who was not like any other martyr, was an angel in human form. There was no soul that touched Karim and kissed him. I spoke to him, and he breathed and moved his hands and legs. We all rose up, calling for his broken father, hoping that there was still a breath, and by God, there was. I tried to dress his wound, and his pure blood was on my hands. The prayers of those around us filled the place. Safety to your heart, Karim. His father took him and risked his life to save Karim. He reached the Al-Muadhami Hospital. No doctors, no treatment, no first aid for Karim. Karim bled a lot, and his father's heart bled even more. He gave him his blood, and if he could, he would have given him his soul, but it was too late. The fate that God had decreed was faster. Karim took his last breath in this terrifying life. It was not befitting of someone like him. He went to the One who is more merciful and kind. His father embraced him throughout the night, sheltering him from the cold. I spoke to his father in the morning, not reassured. I asked about Karim. Is his soul still present? The response was, "Our souls are all in Karim." The answer silenced me until the news of the martyr's ascent came. His father risked himself a second time. Karim returned as a martyr. I bid farewell to the most beautiful martyr. I left him in God's trust. Karim, the little moon, a martyr by the permission of God. Something broke that cannot be fixed. Deep grief, but the mercy of God is greater. He will console us and compensate us in the hereafter. May Karim hold the hands of his father, his siblings, and those he loves and may he enter Paradise, by the permission of God. We have lost greatly, but the mercy of God is greater. My little guide, I will miss you so much and remember you often. I will continue to update your siblings about you every day. We will never forget you, my beloved. In God's trust, my little moon. Karim was martyred in his father's arms due to Israeli occupation shelling on December 7, 2023.
