So many good nuggets here, including Iowa playing 17 (!) games where neither team scores 21, and winning 10 of them
Dana Holgorsen called Big Ten football a "race to 21". Since 2023, a Big Ten team that hits 21 first has won 91.6% of its games. The Huskers win often when they get to 21 first, but they've also played the second-most low-scoring games in the league over that time period

Dana Holgorsen recently called Big Ten games a "race to 21". Across all of college football, the SEC leads the nation in win percentage by the team that scored 21 points first (since 2023, Notre Dame included with the ACC)

The last time that Alabama, Georgia, and Texas all lost on the same day was October 26, 1996. They did it again today

Despite the uncertainty at quarterback, my model still favors Oregon at home over Nebraska. Can the Huskers pull off an upset and give Matt Rhule a signature victory in 2026?

For several years, Nebraska has been losing big to ranked teams. In its last three attempts, it's started losing them close. Bobby Bowden can let you know what comes next. roundtable.io/sports/ncaa/ne…

The Hoosiers' biggest vulnerability is allowing explosive plays, a strength of the Huskers' offense. My model thinks this is enough to keep the Huskers close, but it ultimately favors Indiana keeping its unbeaten streak alive in Lincoln.

A quarter-century after Black 41 Flash Reverse downed the defending champions in Lincoln, the Huskers once again need some explosiveness if they hope to notch a big win. roundtable.io/sports/ncaa/ne…

Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea has outperformed Dylan Raiola in both of Nebraska's last two seasons. Will Colandrea keep rising or plateau as Nebraska's level of competition increases?

Nebraska is a heavy favorite, but Maryland will look to air it out on offense and slow down the Huskers' potent rushing attack. How the Huskers do against the Terrapins will teach us how things may go in the rest of October in Lincoln. roundtable.io/sports/ncaa/ne…

The Blackshirts hadn't had at least two interceptions and six sacks in a game since 2015. They did so in the win at Michigan State.

Both Nebraska and Michigan State are starting conference play in this game. Can the Spartans bounce back after a loss to Notre Dame? The Huskers have a strong offense, but Pat Fitzgerald and LeVar Woods have known how to beat the Huskers
