Need a laugh, @CathyWurzer?

Google "fancy pigeons." A few examples below. I promise, these photos are not AI. Although honestly... some of them should be.

I would urge everyone to be very careful with the “Starlink stole the election” posts.
There will be security audits — and if anything was fucky, we’ll find out about it — but so far, CISA has said they’ve seen no evidence of foul play.

I’m concerned.....
We're seeing a growing body of research documenting the long-term impacts of COVID-19 across multiple organ systems, even in people who had mild or asymptomatic cases. The evidence that multiple infections may exacerbate these effects is becoming harder to ignore, and it's contributing to the growing group of people suffering from Long COVID (LC) or Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (PASC).
There’s definitely a scientific tension growing between waiting for more confirmation and acting on what we already know. It’s true that scientific rigor requires confirmation through repeated studies, longer follow-up periods, and peer-reviewed publication, but at the same time, when the consequences are this significant—both at the individual and population level—it’s a question of how long we can afford to wait before taking preventive measures or enacting policies based on the existing body of evidence.
While there is still much to be understood about the exact mechanisms behind the damage COVID-19 causes, especially with regard to repeated infections, the accumulating studies suggest that there’s no longer any real doubt about the scale of the problem.
The question now needs to shift from whether we should act…….. to how we should act, not tomorrow, but today, to mitigate the damage by preventing further infections, particularly in risk groups, being actually nearly everybody, young and old, after their first infections!
Sadly, I’m calling this out……nearly alone in a vast dessert of healthcare and governmental apathy!
