Thank you Recorder @azjustinheap for confirming my post. The removal of identifiers will result in an increase in signature rejections. We've already seen this in previous elections this year.
Let me be very clear, Garrett Archer is trafficking in election misinformation. The only “identifiers” that have been removed from the view of verifiers during the Signature Verification process is the voter’s personally indentifiable information, including party affiliation. Put simply, the verifiers should not know anything about a voter other than whether the current signature matches the other historic signatures for the individual. This protects all voters and has no bearing on rejection rates.

The recorder changed the signature verification process by removing some identifiers for verifiers. Which is resulting in higher rejection rates This could make things interesting in tight races during the 7-Day curing period.
Yesterday I phoned 120 voters (Dems, Reps, & Indies) who need ballots cured due to "questionable signature". Did I get an earfull! Some hadn't been notified by @azjustinheap and some were LIVID having signed it correctly with never a problem in past. All I could do was commiserate.✌️

.@JuanCiscomani is getting a great deal of kudos for working toward the creation of the 4th national park in Arizona. A lot of people in the future will enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding Chiricahuas. (Full disclosure: I probably won't be one of them)

Here @GinaSwoboda gives no fucks about the grifters, @KariLake and her minions. Good for her!
GTFOOH with that trash you grifter clown. I notified lakes atty and Harmeet Dhillon about my concerns. I also notified MCED, MCRC chair & RNC. As you know bc as per usual you took my efforts & tried to ‘create’ a ‘Merissa’ involvement to grift. Try your clown show pseudo-expert ‘hot takes’ with someone in your league.

Justin Heap is lying to YOU, again. Back in *February* he declared these 25 US citizens as “non-citizens”, patted himself on the back. He made this allegation against 137 folks but ONLY 8 turned out to have voted illegally. Today, Justin is spinning a sad 8-month episode’s ending
For four weeks, AG Kris Mayes refused to provide the citizenship verification we requested. Then, in court, she provided exactly what we had asked for all along—and dismissed her lawsuit. All 24 voters have been restored. We stood firm, did our duty, and upheld Arizona law.

.@votewarren thought bubble: why on earth would @azjustinheap make @krismayes the champion of democracy 11 days before the election? #PoliticalMalpractice
Heap reinstates the 25 voters he marked ineligible.

Recorder Heap broke the law by blocking United States citizens from being placed on the voter rolls. There is nothing to mediate. These 24 voters are U.S. citizens. Let them vote.
JUST IN: Maricopa County Attorney @Rachel1Mitchell comes down HARD on @azjustinheap over his previous statements on the 52 voters he placed into ineligible status. "This is not my opinion. This is not a made-up process. This is the law." "We are now in a place where there is no reason to question the citizenship of 52 voters. And there certainly is no confirmation that they are not citizens – quite the contrary – they are American citizens. The law demands that they be allowed to vote."

So now we are just going to question every US citizen’s ballot status. Thats what the mediation will determine today. Can’t we just agree that a U.S. citizen is eligible to vote and should get a ballot?

It’s Heap vs the US Constitution tomorrow. My money is on the Constitution.
UPDATE: An Order to Show Cause hearing has been set for 11am TOMORROW, in front of Judge Adele Ponce.

Could you imagine if @Adrian_Fontes unilaterally decided to disenfranchise dozens of US citizens? The election integrity buffoons would (rightly) go ballistic. Yet they are giving @azjustinheap a total pass. All of a sudden it’s totally cool to screw over Americans.
Recorder @azjustinheap , U.S. Citizens have the right to vote! County Attorney @Rachel1Mitchell has told you these 24 voters, that you refuse to allow to vote, are indeed citizens. Are you accusing @Rachel1Mitchell of lying now???🥺

.@azjustinheap disenfranchising dozens of American citizens at election time sums up his brief yet disastrous tenure at @RecordersOffice Add to that the USPS nonsense and the wrong Election Day given by his office. And these are just the debacles we know about.

Boy @votewarren has to be annoyed at @azjustinheap @krismayes will get all kinds of free and positive publicity combating real election integrity issues while Petersen can only give Heap serious side eye. #AzAG
NEW: Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes just filed a mandamus action, asking a judge to force Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap to carry out his "nondiscretionary duty to immediately restore the" voting rights of 23 people his office previously alleged were noncitizens.

Interesting piece here. But a major omission: Where's a breakdown of how Arizona's Native American tribes with casinos donated to candidates? Surely they have been big players in campaign contributions to parties, PACs and candidates. azcentral.com/story/news/pol…

For the second straight election I gotta vote for @Adrian_Fontes for #AzSOS because he’s the only candidate in the race who’s not a full on election denier. But Adrian, please, in your next term fix your campaign finance website.

In @PeoriaAZ there may be 2 people running for mayor but really there is only 1 choice. Happy to vote for Michael Finn to lead the West Valley’s booming city.

As '26 Phoenix council elections close, it's probably worth noting who is being mentioned as potential mayoral candidates in '28: @billgatesaz is already getting buzz, as is Kevin Robinson @phxdistrict6 @PHXDistrict5 Betty Guardado and Jim Waring, who is leaving the council

Is this intentional on @azjustinheap and @RecordersOffice to mislead the public and suppress the vote?
PSA: Maricopa County Recorder phone line provides incorrect election date. Correct date is Nov. 3.
