Do you think Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos are investing in AI to help the working class of this country?
No, they’re in it to accumulate even more wealth and power for themselves.
We’ve got to make AI work for working people, not just for billionaires.

Elon Musk: "AI and robots will replace all jobs. Working will be optional."
Bill Gates: "Humans won't be needed for most things."
I have a simple question.
Without jobs and income, how will people feed their families, get health care, or pay the rent?

“Donald Trump is the most openly corrupt president in the history of the United States”.
Daarom zeg ook ik: “Donald Trump is the most openly corrupt president in the history of the United States”.

64 days with no aid reaching Gaza. No food, no water, no medicine. Children are starving.
Netanyahu’s extremist government now says it will occupy Gaza and put mercenaries in charge of distributing aid, instead of the UN and other aid groups.
Despicable. No more US support for Netanyahu’s war machine.

Why respect is a massive issue at work. Research shows that for employees, “feeling respected” is 17.9 times more powerful a predictor of an organisation’s overall culture score than the average factor (& almost twice as strong as the 2nd most important factor, supportive leadership).
As leaders, we may show disrespect repeatedly in seemingly small ways that have a very negative impact on people & culture, eg, by showing disregard for others’ effort, expertise, time or failing to include them.
Three strategies:
1) Make "multitasking" an unacceptable behaviour
2) Treat other people’s time like gold
3) Teach & evaluate listening skills

Those of us who remain on this hellsite and do not share the owner's values are the #Xdissenters. We will keep pushing back against the liars, the racists, the misogynists, the fascists. Never let the far right push you out of any space. And wear the label with pride.
