They mocked Americans who said the economy was crushing their businesses and the housing market while they watched Israel, Ukraine, Silicon Valley, glyphosate, and the ghost of Lindsey Graham take precedence over America. This new class of talking heads thinks they have a monopoly on America’s conscience. They view the world from a silo. They aligned themselves with the tech CEOs who have no allegiance to America—their allegiance belongs to the surveillance state. They track reality through an algorithm that regurgitates their biases. This is why the midterms were a Republican bloodbath. No camera. No extra sensor. Claude wrote the code in 40 minutes. It reads how the WiFi signal bends around bodies and draws them as moving shapes on a map of my apartment.
I ran it at night to test it. Living room: me. Kitchen: empty. Bedroom: a second shape.
I live alone.
I thought it was a bug. I walked to the bedroom. The shape didn’t move. The map showed it standing next to the bed, facing the door.
I turned it off. I still don’t know what the code was reading.
