Obviously, based on what we know, the guy with the bat is entirely in the right and everybody else in this video is entirely in the wrong. Having said that, I am constantly amazed by just how clueless most people are about physical violence. You can tell from the start of this video that this guy has absolutely no business wielding a bat against a mob of people half his age. It’s as if he is completely unaware of the contours of the conflict in which he’s engaging. And nothing he did helped his situation or improved his odds. Meanwhile, there’s his freaking wife standing there unarmed facing off with the mob, as well. And he has no impulse to protect her or to remove her from the situation. This is total cluelessness.
