Much ado about nothing? In 2023, a Nature paper diagnosed a reduction in disruptive research outcomes. This paper (doi.org/10.1016/j.respol.202…) argues that those findings were spurious because of truncation and exclusion bias.

Nice summary of recent trends in global trade. Fig 2 reveals again, how distinct patterns of tariffs for agricultural products are from other goods. And, unsurpring but nevertheless sad, no real progess on tariff reduction over the past 15 years (fig 3). wto.org/english/blogs_e/data…
