A reminder that in close to six months it will be the 10-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting and since that day Congress has not passed a single piece of gun control legislation.

insane how the only notable change since Sandy Hook is that kids are now formally trained to hide, barricade doors, fight, or run for their lives. that was the solution. to literally put the responsibility on them to figure it out and wish them luck.

& take meaningless standardized tests?
CCSD showed once again that their employees don’t matter! They’ve given staff just one week notice that all employees must be on campus starting 3/15. Even though we’re teaching cohort C we must now sit in our classrooms to “prove” we’re working.
These numbers are staggering and no doubt will grow exponentially. CCSD will have no one left in the buildings, we’ve all had enough!
First wave of licensed employee separations hit the agenda for next board meeting today for the @ClarkCountySch About 150 teachers calling it quits. The same meeting last year had 4. It will only get worse as the year comes to a close.
