A reminder that in close to six months it will be the 10-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting and since that day Congress has not passed a single piece of gun control legislation.

insane how the only notable change since Sandy Hook is that kids are now formally trained to hide, barricade doors, fight, or run for their lives. that was the solution. to literally put the responsibility on them to figure it out and wish them luck.

Imagine believing that books pose a greater threat to children than poorly regulated access to guns. We are lost.

@ClarkCountySch is spending millions on summer class, but has not budgeted any money for materials? Weird. @lindacavazos13 @Trustee_Brooks @TrusteeFord @SuptJaraCCSD Teachers need stem items and other materials. Teachers should not have to buy on own @CCSD_Trustees

If a vaccinated Dr. Fauci still won't eat inside a restaurant

gathering entire grade levels
of unvaccinated children
to sit in poorly ventilated rooms

Here it is- the 1st story of my new investigative series #OUTCLASSED that delves into the state of our schools. This one focuses on how many parents may be unaware of how restricted the 1st day of school will be when pre-K to 3rd graders return to the classroom Monday. @News3LV

"The line has to be drawn somewhere. Covid-19 is the line. Teachers simply do not owe you their lives. We owe you high-quality instruction for your children. That’s what we are paid to deliver. And we can do that from the safety of our homes." theeducatorsroom.com/teacher…

A lesson my advisor tried to give me that I wasn't ready to hear in grad school: Stop feeling honored that people ask you to do extra labor.
I am fully aware of this scam now. Encouraging others to learn this early.

🚨🗣 We must continue to press this message forward about CCSD Trustee Williams. Our community is depending on us, especially our schools.

So apparently this was tweeted DURING public comments of a CCSD Trustee meeting.

@NicholasFerroni Because you and so many others are (unfortunately) already familiar with our absolutely awful school Trustee, here’s what she tweeted DURING the public comment period of tonight’s Board meeting. Pray for our teachers, students, and school community.

Disgusted that you are not even listening to public comments. @ClarkCountySch @CCSD_Trustees @lindacavazos13 @TrusteeFord

I’ve been unusually quiet on reopening. It’s not that I don’t have opinions, it’s the lack of care others have exercised & it leads to this: “As I work harder than I ever have, I feel undervalued & scapegoated for a host of problems outside my control.” sandiegouniontribune.com/opi…
