Democrat Scott Colom says at presser in Mississippi that he's "very confident we are going to win" Senate race against Hyde-Smith
"Now we're just going to finish the job by doing our part to protect the process"
"Anybody who can look at the math can tell where this is going"

Despite the extensive coverage of Republican Mike Rogers' outreach to Detroit voters this year, he's currently doing worse in Detroit than he did 2 years ago.

This is a shocker developing. In the past provisionals reported after Election Night have shifted left which is good for Colom. So tight. CHS's best chance is there are votes left in a red county we don't know about right now.
Scott Colom has TAKEN THE LEAD (!) in Mississippi's Senate race with nearly all votes in.
It's unclear which votes are remaining, and this one might take several days to figure out. But it's clear that Colom has a real chance.

We're continuing to count the bodies at Texas Monthly: Democrats seem almost certain to take control of the Texas House, while Texas Senate control is in the air. Every statewide office and judicial race appears to have gone D. texasmonthly.com/news-politi…
It's looking pretty clear at this point that Bodnar would have been very competitive in a one-on-one race with Alme — either on the Democratic ballot line or without Bankhead on the ballot.
Alme leads him by 6.6%, though NYT projects a final margin of Alme +12.

First batch of Alaska Senate votes looking good, would be Senate seat #55 for Dems

We are watching MS U.S. Senate closely. This race isn't over. It's always hard to know how much vote is outstanding because the state lacks online election reporting systems. The state has also shifted blue after Election Day in the past. A lot of loose ends here.

The Tennessee Secretary of State's unofficial final results have Democrat Victoria Broderick is 200 votes ahead of GOP Rep. Scott DesJarlais in #TN04, which Trump won by *24 points* in 2024.
This race wasn't on anyone's radar. Cook had it as solid R.
Scott Colom still has a legit chance of beating Cindy Hyde-Smith in Mississippi's Senate race — even if you'd much rather be CHS.
We'll see about provisional ballots (which have historically favored Ds here) — this one might need some time to get figured out.

At the Susan Collins watch party, supporters have been told to expect a concession speech. Blame is quickly shifting to Trump for her performance—even among Trump voters I spoke with.
"Trump is a traitor."
"We're all in shock."

The 2010 margin was 6.8 points, an election remembered as a generational wipeout. Tonight is expected to almost double that. 2008 was 10.5 and 2006 was 8.0. A thirteen point win would be the biggest congressional margin in fifty years.

Wow Rep Scott DESJARLAIS (R) now trails Victoria Broderick (D) by 280 votes (!) in #TN04
More than 95% of vote in
This could be a dummymander. This seat went from a Trump +44 to a Trump +24. Either way a very close call.

Multiple insiders from both parties now telling me they think Republicans will also lose the Assembly tonight.
That would be final domino to fall, giving Wisconsin Democrats their first trifecta in 16 years

There are 17 statewide offices on the ballot in Texas today - Sen, Gov, LG, AG, Ag Commish, Comptroller, Land Commish, Railroad Commish, 4 Sup Court seats, 3 appeals court seats, 3 criminal appeals court seats.
With 66% in, Dems are leading all 17 with at least 55% of the vote
He likely won't win, but a REMARKABLE and under-the-radar performance from @Achilles4Idaho in Idaho's Senate race — down by only 5% to Jim Risch.

Democrats might just flip the Georgia House. They're up in about 18 races now all across the map ... #gapol ajc.com/politics/2026/11/ins…
