Have to say I had a real treat yesterday morning spending a couple of hours chatting with @TheCurtisDavies about @HullCity and my home city Kingston Upon Hull.
What a great guy and professional he is!
I did & what a fantastic weekend it was too!
Could have done with a @HullCity & Sunderland win...think about the latter 🤣
Two late nights, both with live bands, then a sporting Sunday but I return to my usual Monday morning refreshed and raring to go.
Join me from 10am
Well Geoff Bielby survived his weekend and will be presenting his #MindfulMondays Liveline show from 10am.

HULL CITY AFC @HullCity 1965-66
Managed by the astute Cliff Britton, the Tigers absolutely dominated the Football League Third Division with an unstoppable, free-scoring team, securing promotion and generating memories that older generations of fans still cherish as the benchmark of pre-modern Hull City football.

50 years ago this Friday on 2 October 1976 16,096 watched Division 2 @HullCity managed by Kirkella resident John Kaye defeat Brian Clough’s @NFFC 1-0 with a debut goal from ex @LUFC hero Billy Bremner who had just made a sensational switch to the Tigers #hcafc #IWasThere
Awesome as always!
Ok, I’ve finally got off my lazy arse and wrote something.
Hope you enjoy it and that you’re all well and looking forward to the big game between Latvia and Cyprus tonight.
Up those premier league tigers 🧡🖤

This is low, even by the standards of the UK Football policing unit, casually linking the Taylor report post Hillsborough and football tragedies to changes in the law on drinking at matches
Drinking in view of the pitch didn’t cause deaths or injuries - policing failures did

The PM's comments that drinking alcohol in sight of the pitch should be allowed have been headline news today.
We support the PM’s position and it’s actually a more nuanced discussion than X sometimes allows but - deep breath! - we'll give it a go.
