Hey friends, ‘borrow’ is an incoming verb and not an outgoing one. You can borrow something from someone but you cannot borrow something to someone. If a pen goes from me to you, I have lent you my pen and you have borrowed it.
May God bless you in the pursuit of excellence 🙏🏿

See you at Zone Tech Park!🚀 @flutterbyteconf
Our opening keynote speaker is David Adegoke, @Blazebrain01, Senior Mobile Engineer at Cake Labs and FlutterBytes co-founder.

Young people with zero sense of agency. Ughhhhh!!!!
It is actually very disturbing that a young person cannot just google basic things and set themselves up.
It’s everything you must join a Telegram group for. You cannot exercise your own critical thinking, you just always outsource it to others.
You’ll see someone mention an opportunity on Twitter, and you’re in the comments asking for the link a million times. Meanwhile, someone with a higher sense of agency has googled it, found the link, read the requirements, and probably started applying.
“This mercor thing I’m seeing online, somebody should dm me the link.”
Ehrr…Google it? Ask ChatGPT? Search Twitter? Anything?
You cannot apply for visa yourself. Not that you don’t have time o, you’re just not sure how to do it and have zero willingness to do what’s necessary to learn. You need an agent or a “plug” or WhatsApp group for the most basic things. What’s going on?
You cannot just sit down, read, research, follow instructions, and figure things out without somebody holding your hand? Later, you’ll be angry that somebody is charging you ₦20k to join a WhatsApp group. Since you’ve decided not to take control of your own affairs nko?
You either develop a sense of agency in your life, or keep paying those who have developed theirs. Simple.
But if it’s a new social media feature, you’ll figure that one out. Please do better for yourself. Take control of your own life.
Before you ask, first ensure you actually have exhausted all the options available to you. “Is it not easier to ask?” Not when that’s your default response everytime!
Learn to research. Learn to navigate unfamiliar systems. Learn to read instructions. Learn to make informed decisions. Learn to figure things out even when nobody is available to guide you.
Train your own brain. Bruh. Be intellectually independent.
It is how to go far in life, faster.

Fill finds the deadline on any application form and reminds you a week before, two days before, and the morning of.

No matter who you are , it’s very important to be kind and respectful of people .
Salutation is not love you can greet the next person and it dosen’t mean anything .
Don’t treat people like they’re beneath you .
At the end nothing even belongs to us .

Sometimes the first person in a family to earn significantly more is not building wealth at all. They are financing everyone else's transition from survival to stability. It is a responsibility that deserves more nuanced conversations.

Contrary to what many people expected, likely based on the announcement a couple of months ago, we (Nippyy) didn't make it to the Grand Finale of the Wema Bank Hackaholics 7.0, because they had to pick the final 20 out of everyone who took top places from the different pitch centres.
I'm not even going to lie, I had my hopes really high; I was banking on getting that opportunity and platform, and I was positive we would get a spot at the top, but for some reason, we didn't make it.
I got the heartbreak on day 2. Of Moonshot, the thing just made me weak, because again and again you get this news, and it makes you start doubting what you have built/are trying to build.
No one really talks about the emotional and psychological trauma that comes from building a startup; I couldn't even say it publicly until now because I am still in denial.
Oh well, shall we try again?
