Can Bitcoin help pay a firehall’s heating bill? I put 2 Avalon Q miners to the test in a firehall garage. Two firetrucks full of water, near freezing outdoor temps, and I slept at the hall to monitor the situation Part 2 of my @Magsplaining_ experiment. Links 👇🏻

Not your keys, not your coins.
A Bitcoin treasury company (@Datavault_ai $DVLT) just crashed because they informed investors that they haven't been able to withdraw BTC from the exchange (@BiconomyCom) that is holding all their treasury funds after 4 months of transfer requests.

Fear and Bracket Creep: Initiative 195’s tax brackets are fixed and not indexed to inflation. Federal tax brackets are. As wages rise due to inflation & dollar decay, more folks will fall into higher tax brackets over time even as real purchasing power may have decreased.

“Fair share” is the current flat tax. Can’t produce more golden eggs by beating every geese that lays them until they cough up blood and fly to Florida.
Flat taxes work. Colorado was the first state to convert its graduated system to a flat tax, and a decade later, its per capita income was about 5% higher than comparable states that kept graduated rates. Learn more in a new report from Cato’s @adamnmichel. ow.ly/8GWS50ZO0Yt

97% get a few $100. The people who can leave for zero income tax Wyoming or Texas notice their tax rate nearly doubling. Polis, notable local enthusastic democratic radical, even says no on Amendment 87 (initiative 195).
The non-partisan tax foundation found that high income taxes hurt growth. It’s critical that Colorado voters reject Amendment 87 which would make Colorado the 9th highest taxed state. It’s not to late to vote No on amendment 87

Electricity prices have decoupled from inflation and may not be coming back for a while. This is the bill for every mandate, every interconnection, every regulatory gold-plate, and every politician who promised “cheaper electricity” while signing the fuel conversion orders.

"Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures." ⚡️
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water. The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis. Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures." Full story here foxnews.com/politics/inside-…

Hundreds of millions evaporated. The buildings are still standing. The equity is not. This is your city on progressive governance.
7 major Denver area commercial properties lost ~80% of property value (totaling over $800M after just a few years of @denversmayor @MikeJohnstonCO (D) policies.

This is the kind of engineering that makes zoning boards nervous. Not because it may fail, but because it might succeed outside their permit process. A jet-engine core, a fast pass for utility interconnection, and bonus of not evaporating the local aquifer cooling a turbine.
Today Boom unveils our first completed supersonic turbine core, a 2GW Superfactory, and—one more thing—the world's most advanced all-digital foundry to cast single crystal turbine blades and vanes

Sunk $13B+ into the machine, fares contributed a measly $1.5B. Sales tax carries the corpse while capital collapses after the FasTracks bing. O&M keeps the lights on for empty seats. Ridership is a flatline w/a post pandemic cliff. A tax funded jobs program w/train ornaments.
FasTracks has taxed northerner front rangers for decades, their train still hasn’t arrived on schedule. CoCo @COFRPR: same corridor, additional taxes. +$4.7B. The +$295M/yr sales tax hopium is FasTracks 2.0. If tax receipts miss, the Southern Route remains vaporware, just like 2004’s Northwest RTD Rail Line, allegedly coming soon™️ in 2029!

They built more rails, stations, concrete monuments to collectivism, but the ridership never returned. Fares cover a rounding error. Tax keeps the lights on. Now another pile of other people’s money gets poured on top so the spreadsheet can show “projected additional rides.”

9 more figures of debt projected to be added next year for the local mass transit district. FasTracks was sold as the future and delivered a very expensive past and present. Billions sunk, fares that barely register, and a budget that continually bleeds red.
RTD is proposing a 2027 budget that has the agency spending $148 million more than it expects to take in, and that includes $20 million in service changes whose routes and schedules have not yet been identified. 🔗: denvergazette.com/2026/10/15…

In Colorado, local authorities have permitted turning off the power grid if the forecast is too windy, and mandated closure of critical interstate infrastructure due to sunshine. Climate change strikes again.

A state that brags about being the place for young talent is watching its labor force erode to levels it held prior to the pandemic. Labor participation rate is lowest since the late 1970s (65%).
Colorado's civilian labor force fell by 3,096 to 3,179,285 in September 2026 according to data released this morning by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is the lowest monthly count since September 2022. The state's civilian labor force has declined by 69,505 since January 2026.

I went to Denver, Colorado, and found homeless people living under the city in their drainage pipes. The New York Times just came out with an article this last week stating Denver has the model to fix homelessness. I disagree.

.@LockheedMartin is expanding its operations in Colorado, with plans to add up to 1,250 jobs over the next four years. The expansion will support the company’s work in exploration and technology.
