#LetsTalkZimlife... So now we are preparing for the festive season. Some are already booking flights to go on holiday outside Zim. I just want to remind you all that there are people out there who have nothing, barely scratching a living. May we remember them by buying food hampers for them so that they can enjoy Christmas with families. I saw some food hampers at Pick N Pay Westgate going for USD 45 per hamper. Anyone willing to sponsor a hamper, please DM. Many thanks 🙏

Who said political power can’t have a rhythm? 💃🏾🥁
What is an African feminist conference without the music and dance? In Africa, our movements for gender equality, fair elections, and women's political leadership have always been sung, danced, and marched into existence!
We don't just ask for a seat at the decision-making table—we bring the drumbeat, claim our space, and dance our way to democracy! 🇿🇦✨🗳️✊🏾

Hospital executives& Doctors have opened private surgeries.Nurses are hired there on part time bases. Some politicians have pharmacy businesses. Thats where mishonga are going. You go to hospital they refer you to a pharmacy or private doctor ine mishonga💔🇿🇼
So today I spent the whole day in bed. I'm just resting. I only woke up to eat. It's important to have some me time. 😛
#LetsTalkZimlife cont...So am just looking at my very dry garden and am praying that rain comes soon. Gone are the days when we used to have green lawns and beautiful flowers in most of the gardens around. So it seems we have normalised not having clean running water from the taps 24/7.
Water trickles in once or sometimes twice a week just so that people can fill up their jojo tanks.
My question is when are we going to have clean drinking water 24/7? Are we content to having boreholes and jojo tanks everywhere now? Tava kugara mugrowth point here nhai? @JMafume
Where is Mudhara Cass? Haven't seen him for some days? @ZimLingo @sunduzawekanyi @BeeNubian @leesah_zimbo @OctaviandlovuN

Do you think that he could be stuck somewhere in a coconut groove?

Way back when I was in Form 4 kwaNerupiri, the only guy with a solar panel was our Geo teacher ainzi Tota. One day he came to class fuming aine chamboko. Called someone and said "Haaa ndina ku te-nga solar ku-ku-ti ndimake ma-ma-bhuku akanzi pollution is caused nevanhu va-va-nomamira mudziva" Three decades later, I still don't understand if he was mad about the answer or that the guy wrote that in Shona😭 Anyway, glad to see solar access is improving. We need solar tiles too
More Zimbabwean homes run on solar than on ZESA.
2,082,785 households (58.4%) use solar as their main electricity source, vs 1,479,990 (41.5%) on the grid. In rural areas it's 86.8% solar. #dailyviz
