Okay, so occasionally I just have to share evidence of how much cooler my kid is than I am.

I just received a letter from @NYSTaxDept saying I failed to file NY State taxes in 2018 and owe $4,200.
I have never lived or worked in New York.
After weeks/months away I jumped back on here for 2 minutes to look for some specific information and as a fountain of vile bullshit instantly blasted through my eyeballs and into my soul, I IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED IT.
Excited to take my 10 year old to see his most anticipated movie of the year tonight. And I can’t help but be proud that he’s decided to shun social norms & ignore the franchise stuff targeted at young boys & instead wants to see a drama about old men trying to blow up the world.
Hey is this the place where I can learn about new and upcoming #Xcom games?
Guys, guys! I just heard @elonmusk is working with @microsoft to change the @Xbox into a social media device instead of a game console! That’s right, there will be no more @XGames!

I can understand from Musk's perspective wanting to rebrand something to distance it from cursed past association (though I'm not sure precisely what triggered him). But "X" is just going to make all links to here look like porn.
Most rebranding is stupid - especially when the brand name is the only thing of value - but #X is the most desperate 90’s-ass bid for coolness I can imagine. Might as well call it Poochie and put a backward baseball hat on it.

If Barbie is woke, and going woke means going broke, how did it make $155,000,000.00 over it’s opening weekend?
I don’t make the rules, I just ask the questions.

A reality show where CEO’s have to drive a 2001 Honda Civic with no air conditioning from the valley to Santa Monica, wait an hour next to 12 CEO’s who look just like them just to try and nail one line in a Crest commercial before driving back to the valley to wait tables.
This is how stupid IATSE is. Promoting classes in AI tools that threaten many of their workers livings. FFS. I can’t believe these people are supposed to represent me.

Hunter Biden bought a handgun illegally. Republicans want him to go to prison.
Kyle Rittenhouse took an assault rifle— illegally, as a minor— crossed state lines, and murdered two people. Republicans want to make him their Party mascot.
I think I see a pattern here.
