With a vote of 896 to 7 the UM House Officers Association ratified a 4-year deal with @umichmedicine This agreement demonstrates both parties’ commitment to recruiting and supporting top-tier resident & fellow physicians who provide world-class care to the Michigan community.

The University of Michigan must provide a compensation package that meets the needs of residents and fellows living in Ann Arbor. They must also stay competitive among elite institutions or risk losing out on the top talent that makes this health system run.
