🚨 BREAKING: Prominent Michigan Democrat fundraiser David Kramer — who served as campaign finance chair for both Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Rep. Haley Stevens — announces he is JUMPING SHIP to vote MIKE ROGERS (R) for US Senate over Abdul El Sayed, per Jewish Insider
Abdul is TANKING! 🔥
Kramer says that even as a lifelong Democrat, backing Rogers is FAR more impactful than leaving his ballot blank to stop Mohamed from reaching the Senate
Another Democrat defection.
It really feels like Michigan Mike has the momentum!

This is actually true—
Duke Energy guaranteed a $10 million line of credit so the Democrats could hold their 2012 convention in Charlotte.
The host committee never paid it back. Duke simply wrote it off. Shareholders (and ultimately ratepayers) ate roughly $6 million of the cost after taxes.
Jim Rogers, Duke’s CEO at the time and a co-chair of the host committee, shrugged it off as a contribution “for the greater good.”
Years later Lynn Good collected $20–21 million packages—mostly stock and incentives—while North Carolina families watched electricity prices climb and the company sought rate hikes.
A regulated monopoly underwriting one party’s convention, absorbing the loss, then handing its top executives eight-figure pay.
That’s the arrangement.
Replying to @RealMashburn4NC
In 2013, Duke Energy co-signed a $10 million loan for the democrats at Bank Of America. The DNC never paid the bill, so Duke Energy did. If you look up the last CEO of Duke Energy, Lynn Wood, she helped herself to around $22 million a year salary using bonuses to do so.

Judge Alexandre de Moraes signed an order demanding Bolsonaro hand over his passport WITHIN SEVEN MINUTES of the close of voting. Before votes had even been counted.
What did he know about the vote results that enabled him to make this order within seven minutes of polls closing - seemingly confident that Bolsonaro had already lost?

Any food chains or brands out there that want a social media manager?
I'll provide such services as constructing logical arguments for the maximal greatness of your product and ratioing other brands that fail to recognize their own flawed epistemological assumptions.
HMU.
Just not fair. At the Trop, but it's a home game for the Brewers.
How are the Rays one the best franchises in baseball, with some of the best uniforms in baseball, in a place that theoretically should have baseball fans, and the Brewers take the stadium over?!?

Kris Mayes thinks we have too many golf courses. She raised our utility prices, lost the trust and support of law enforcement, wouldn't protect girls in sports, won't defend our border, and now golf?
End the insanity on November 3rd. Vote Warren Petersen for Attorney General.

Remember when even liberal Katie Hobbs told Kris Mayes to retract her dangerous comments? Mayes too dangerous for Arizona. Vote Warren Petersen for Attorney General.
'She should retract them': Democratic @GovernorHobbs calls on fellow Democrat @AZAGMayes to retract comments suggesting Arizona gun law could result in shootings of ICE officers. Both Hobbs & Mayes are up for re-election in November 2026. #AZGOV #AZAG
This is my general read on the polls. (And ever since 2016 it seems this is always that case. There are two groups of polls. Those showing tight races that probably resolve to the underlying partisan nature of the state. And those that are "blue wave everywhere!" And the extreme cases have always ended up with egg on their face. But because they are (D) they never get dropped. You decide if they were ever real or always made up.)
1) This should not be a legal matter. Arresting the mom is insane.
2) Would I get on a plane out of town leaving a 14 year old in charge with a 9, 11 and 12 year old - no. Would I leave that situation for say a night out (dinner, movie, maybe some drinks) - yeah, not a second thought.
3) If I was stuck. Which is really what the bigger story sounds like. She had work out of town. She had a baby sitter scheduled to look. She just had to leave before the sitter got there. Would I do that? - Probably not, but I can completely understand the choice. As it sounds like the Dad is a piece of work.
Bottom line: There are a lot worse things than this. And if you can't help, calling the cops is just making things worse.
Bodycam footage shows Florida deputies arresting a mother at an airport after authorities say she left her four children, ages 9, 11, 12 and 14, home alone while traveling to Las Vegas for work.
Irene Miller, 50, was taken into custody Friday as she stepped off a plane. Two days earlier, one of her children had called 911 after a dumbbell fell on her 9-year-old brother's head.
When deputies arrived at the family's Kissimmee home, they found the children without adult supervision and had the injured boy taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Miller now faces four counts of child neglect.

SO MANY people commenting on this equate "bad parenting" with "the mother should be prosecuted."
They're totally different things! The bar for upending a family due to bad parenting needs to be SO HIGH. Way higher than "I personally would not make this choice."

Parenting is a lot easier if you manage to avoid certain things—I would say the more of these things your kids are involved in, the worse the outcomes will be generally
Full time daycare
Public school
Illegal drug use
Prescription “mental health” drug use
Birth control
Longterm therapy
Progressive friends
Allowing/encouraging teens to have “serious relationships”
Any gender indoctrination
Early sex ed
Zero religious tradition
Raised without both biological parents
If you can simply free them from these heavy anchors, raising good kids becomes much easier and you can focus on the parenting part: unconditional love, rules, traditions, stability, faith.
Try it!
Cousins is legit one of the top-10 QBs in the league. A league where only about 16 guys can actually play the position. I understand you drafted a guy no 1, but trading a legit starting QB?

If the leading opponents of the government are faced with the choice of either fleeing the country or being imprisoned, does that mean the country is tyrannical and authoritairan?
It all depends on whether we like the ideology of the government or not.

“You have so many problems with insurance, in large part, by the way, also related to mass uncontrolled migration with tons of illegal drivers on the roads, which cause insurance costs to just go way up....It's not just about the kids not wanting to get out there and do things. There are also some pretty serious structural issues that the adults have caused problems with as well” -@MZHemingway

official, published DSA positions include but are not limited to: abolishing the senate, the supreme court, and the executive branch, abolishing prisons and ICE, opening the border, and seizing most major industries
UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
"The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that."
That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire.
Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies":
"No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently."
"You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."
