it pisses me off for a few reasons, not the least of which is that from a systems perspective the economics here are fascinating but everyone taking low quality dunks is missing the opportunity to learn more about how money works

Richard Stallman is like "Grease 2", in that they both have:
✅ terrible opinions on the definition of "consent" from minors
✅ a small but very vocal fan base defending it despite many other claims
✅ should not returned after the 1st iteration

I spoke with @luis_in_brief at #LibrePlanet on how mission-driven non-profits can recover from abusive culture; and how to reimagine your mission when the world changes. I see that @fsf clearly wasn’t listening. theregister.com/2021/03/22/r…

In the smallest twitter nutshell, yes. Lots of details there (for example, you don't need to remove the use of the word from the source, etc); but you do need to change the user facing components. (a-la Firefox and IceWeasel)

So happy that @chef is now a 100% open source company. They are done being open core, and I have to say, I'm stoked about it. It aligns the company with its core values in a way that is so much more elegant and understandable. link.medium.com/yxUzDqgHyV

I had been considering writing something along these lines myself. I'm surprised how many people are so eager to see @elonmusk brought low. I admire him.
In Defense of @ElonMusk: The Tesla and SpaceX maestro is under attack for bad tweets, production woes, and strange behavior. But we need people who take risks. We need people who try.
