An attack on a presidential candidate and former President is an attack on the country, red, blue, independent, etc. Our country needs prayer.

I am disheartened by what’s happened in the GOP. The GOP platform may be subject to change, but God’s word is not. Southern Baptists “contend for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death” and will insist that elected officials do the same.

The choice for the church in every age will always be, Will our identity be shaped by Scripture or by our culture—by the biblical story or the cultural story?

Did you hear @DrPaulChitwood say IMB missionaries are staying on the field an average of three times longer than missionaries from other sending agencies? Because you give. Because you pray. Because you send. Our missionaries can focus on the work.
Because you hold the rope.

Every faithful sermon presents the hearer with a forced decision. We will either obey or disobey the Word of God. The sovereign authority of God operates through the preaching of His Word to demand and produce obedience from His people.

Yesterday in CCHS chapel, Pastor Willy concluded the Gospel Vision series with an altar call. What happened next was entirely unrehearsed and unexpected. For the next 4+ hours over 100 students remained to pray, confess sin, read Scripture, and sing together.

We would never do this. We expect God to work within our planned out, prearranged schedule. What if we did this? What if we focused on waiting on God instead of running around like chickens with our heads cut off?

Every revival in history has had its critics, usually within the Church, because they disagreed with how God was doing it.

Please don’t share the video of the Damar Hamlin play. Share this because we are all Praying for him and his family.

No one cares about this game at all anymore. Praying for Damar Hamlin the man, the son, the brother and the friend. What just happened was traumatic to so many but all that matters right now is that he STAYS WITH US.

If you will compromise on something as basic and fundamental as marriage, you will compromise on anything. Read my latest @WNGdotorg: "The parable of David French: This is how conservatism dies, and this is how marriage is surrendered." bit.ly/3GxDUke:
