"The way we all grow up in the Maritimes, it's pretty gritty, most guys from that area are pretty feisty... getting punched isn't that fun, but the guys seem to like it, so maybe I'll do it a couple more times" Great stuff from Nathan MacKinnon after the Avs win 3-2 in Dallas

A Bluenoser is the traditional nickname for a person who lives in Nova Scotia. What may have started as an insult, instead became a badge of honour over time. It is a term now known nationwide, but where did it come from? This is the story. 📸 Nova Scotia Facebook Page 🧵 1/6

Respect is earned. You earned mine a long time ago. Each sunset makes it far more difficult for most anyone else to deny theirs. Congratulations on an incredible 20 years! You ARE the example I consistently bring up to young talent of effort & turning anything into entertaining!
20 years ago today, I made my WWE in-ring debut. Most said I wouldn’t last. That aged well. And the best part? I’m not done yet. Still here. Still must-see. Still AWESOME. Show me your favorite Miz moment. Tag me and I may repost. Consider that your assignment. Class dismissed

"It's beneath their office". Simple and devasting reply by our Canadian Prime Minister to the American trolls.
Q: What do you make of U.S. cabinet secretaries insulting the Canadian military? Carney: It's beneath their office.

An accident is when you trip on the edge of your rug, not when 77 million of you vote for Donald Trump. Twice.
Rep. Gwen Moore: "I hope that we'll be able to go back to the Canadians once his presidency is over and ask them for some grace based on our having accidentally elected someone who was certifiably insane."

He was voted in,twice. From outside of the United States it looks as if majority of Americans are fine with what Trump is doing. Otherwise the streets would be filled with protests. Instead there is simply a shrug thinking it will all go back to "normal" in two years. It won't. – at South Frontenac, Ontario
Trump has returned the United States to the 19th century. We are now acting like a typical imperialist empire from that century. His Venezuelan oil deal is just that- straight-up imperialism, using military force to seize the assets of a country in the south. Deeply regrettable. Hope this approach will change quickly in 2029.
