We just enjoyed one of the most wonderful & blessed weekends of my Christian journey! Thank you to all who served to make healthy church weekend a reality! Thank you to the Shanes for blessing us! Thank you, EBC family for loving Jesus and His mission!!!
After a hurricane and a series of miracles, the 80th birthday plan has come together!!! Mom is sitting at her Sunday night Ravens game with her sons, awaiting kick off!!! She’s pretty happy!!!😃
Dave and Dorothy are part of our global family from rural Novia Scotia (Cape Breton). They came all the way to Newington today so Dave could be baptized! What a moment of celebration!!🎉
We had the privilege to minister to and with a wonderful group of pastors and their wives last week at Refuel 2026! It was a great delight, and I’m thankful to everyone who made this opportunity possible and who made the time together so full and blessed!
My feed is filled with either biblical things or food things. Lately I’ve seen a lot about Noah’s Ark. Today I see fried chicken. It seems to me the site in Turkey is actually a giant piece of fried chicken!

A recent article from Peter DeHaan stated that 1 out of 40 who enter vocational ministry end in vocational ministry. Staggering. One stat connected from Josh Reich was that the average person loses 7 significant relationships in their lifetime, the average pastor loses 5-7 each year. Most do not learn how to process this relational reality. We must learn to process our wins and losses biblically and spiritually. Pastor friends, we need you! Hang in there, get encouragement and help when needed, and finish the race! We are praying and pulling for you!
