One of my first captures of an #IridiumFlare was the only shot I ever got of SV98 on 18 June 2018. What a joy that was! It was a –2.8mag. 🤩❤️🛰✨ I hope Twitter compression doesn't wipe it out.

We may all remember our own #IridiumFlare pics. But can you recall a great shot by someone else that you would like to see again? I do! I nominate @john_pahl for Eiffel Tower and @davebatz for Santa Maria :) Send out your nomination for #WorldIridiumFlareDay 🤩💖🛰💫

My contribution to #WorldIridiumFlareDay is my photo of Iridium 14 flaring over the Eiffel Tower, Paris back in 2018. It was a lovely warm June evening and the view from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim was amazing @iramollay @catchtheiridium

So excited to see such an amazing educational video from @Spicey_Spiney about the original #Iridium network's #Iridiumflares. Highly recommend watching this to learn about what those mysterious streaks of light were in the night sky, starting in 1997. #thankyou Mary! #flarewell

Not a really shining flare, but it was the first after 7 months of totally dark over my sky. One of the last SV97 #iridiumflares photographed 30th October 2019 at 5.27 GMT #WorldIridiumFlareDay #flarewell

Inspired by @john_pahl's #IridiumFlare shots, I developed an interest in capturing them 💖🛰🌟 over some interesting spots in my beautiful hometown of Vienna.
