As we start this holiday season, it’s important to be aware that this time of year can also bring up a range of emotions for our students. I love @Seesaw’s quick check-in poll that incorporates student voice AND choice! app.seesaw.me/#/activities/l… – at San Antonio, TX

This young lady has a big job today @MHPatriot! She is the student mentor welcoming a newcomer to his first day of school. She did a fantastic job showing our new friend around school using her Spanish!! #sharethegoodLps @LIBERTYSCHOOLS
This is my WHY. ❤️I want my students to know that being multilingual is a gift. I love that this sweet girl is sharing this with her classmates!! @MHPatriot

With the new school year about to begin, let’s remember that not every student went on a family vacation, visited an amusement park, explored nature or met new friends at a sleepover camp in the woods.
Some students summer highlights include having a roof over their head and just enough food to survive.
These students have been counting the days to return to school for safety, consistency, support, friendship, nutrition, and hope for the future!
Thank you for everything you do for our students!
