Holy shit, this seems to be… true?
18 states + DC have already enacted the compact, totaling 222 Electoral Votes. So we need 48 more electoral votes worth of states to join to hit the necessary 270.
Dems just captured trifectas in PA (19 EVs), MI (15), AZ (11), WI (10), and NV (6), which collectively have 61 EVs.
If cops get to violate the US Flag Code for their sticker, Texas should at least get to do this for the next week or two

Corey is one of the very many reasons why I am excited about this whole thing.

Yeah I was putting dots together when we learned about it. After we chatted this week, more ideas just kept flowing! I am really looking forward to all of the things we'll get to do together
To be clear, this is not an "Our Incredible Journey" acqui-hire story for Daily/Pipecat. You need to see what Deepgram is planning to do in order to understand why I'm so jazzed about this.
Building better voice AI should also mean giving developers more choices.
Today at #DeepgramSpeak, @trydaily, the company behind the open source @pipecat_AI framework, is joining Deepgram. We're thrilled to welcome @kwindla, our new Head of Open Source, and his team to Deepgram.
We’ve also co-developed the Real-Time Context Standard with @pipecat_AI, developed to help voice AI systems carry the context that makes conversations work.
More on the vision we’re working toward together: deepgram.com/blog/daily-pipe…
I've occasionally described Pipecat as "open source to a fault" at conferences when talking about our onboarding experience 😂 There are a lot of people in both orgs that care A Whole Lot about getting this right.
So very, very excited. The Pipecat team is joining @DeepgramAI and, as always, staying open source and vendor neutral. Same license, same maintainers! Post from @kwindla
I decided I'm reclaiming the em dash from AI on behalf of human writers. We can do it the old-fashioned way---use three hyphens (the actual "-" key on your keyboard), but don't let macOS auto-correct it to an em dash character. That's how they used to do it on typewriters anyway
The only way to manage three kids in high school in 2026 is spending way too long building an AI personal assistant that can comprehend their calendars. Bonus points if it’s adorable
I'll be at Deepgram Speak on October 29th with 500 or so new and old friends who build voice AI agents and applications. As mini embedded Pipecat and I were just discussing, I'm really excited about Deepgram Speak.
We're working on some very fun Pipecat stuff for the conference. If you're interested in models for realtime AI, building production voice agents, or what the future holds for voice and AI-native software, please join us in San Francisco.
After spending the better part of a year working in Linux, I'm trying to do a few simple things in macOS again. The security nag prompts put Windows Vista to shame. How do you people get anything done
