When you’re technical and have spent 5+ years studying software engineering and systems thinking, you know exactly how much brain power and effort went into building those skills.
So when you watch AI do something that took you 5 years to learn, and that would take you 30 minutes, and it does it in 1 second, you are blown away.I was in Georgia Tech’s online master’s program, taking a programming class, when GPT-4 got good enough to write basic Python. After I saw what it could do, I dropped out of the program immediately.
