So yes, this is our 50th release, but to see it on the Bandcamp page with that amazing deal really brings it home!

If you have a lot of meetings, you need to be doing this: 1. Record every meeting with @meetgranola 2. Connect your Granola account to your @vellum_ai or @bot agent 3. Set a routine where every day, your agent goes through all your transcripts to look for every action item, follow up, or thing you're waiting on from your meetings that day. 4. Have it keep a running list of all of those notes that it surfaces to you each morning to either mark completed or to get done that day.

I’m doing fractional CTO work for one company, building several side projects, and maintaining and upgrading live products. Tools I use: - Wispr Flow (@WisprFlow): Speech-to-text. A lot of my prompts, notes, and instructions start as dictation. - Superset (@superset_sh): My IDE and control center for coding agents. It manages Git worktrees and branches so development work stays isolated. - Claude Code (@claudeai): Drives my development process. It is still the main tool I use to work through code. - Codex (@OpenAI): Currently my secondary coding tool. I am also starting to use the desktop app as a home base for business work and research. - Hermes Agent (@NousResearch): Runs on an always-on Mac mini and handles ongoing operations around my vault, meetings, recurring jobs, monitoring, and tasks. - AgentMail (@agentmail): Gives Hermes its own email account. It sends me reports and summaries, then processes my replies as instructions. - Granola (@meetgranola): Captures my meetings. Hermes checks for new notes, saves summaries to my vault, and emails me potential action items through AgentMail. - Obsidian (@obsdmd): The human interface to my Markdown vault. Agents work directly with the files while I read and edit them in Obsidian. - OmniFocus (@OmniFocus): My task system. Meeting actions land here after I approve them by email. - Glance: (glnc.io/) A monitoring product I built for the automated workflows behind my work and products. It tells me what ran, whether it produced the expected outcome, and what needs attention. - Raycast (@raycastapp): Snippets, shortcuts, and a pile of small Mac utilities that remove repetitive work. - Calendly (@Calendly): My scheduling link. It removes most of the back-and-forth around booking time. - Tailscale (@Tailscale): Connects me securely to the Mac mini running Hermes. - 1Password (@1Password): Hermes has access to one isolated vault containing only the API keys it needs.

This week I spoke at @rubyconf for the first time. This conference has been a big part of my life the last 10 years so it was really cool to take the stage for the first time and share what I’ve been working on.
