Conservatives have long supported a two-state solution - one that allows a future Palestinian state to exist in peace and prosperity alongside the State of Israel, and one that is the result of a negotiated settlement between Israelis and Palestinians.
But a Western democracy recognizing a Palestinian state in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks sends the wrong message that violence and force are effective tools for a terrorist group to achieve its ends.

Spain spent just 1.28% of GDP on defense last year, per NATO figures. A 0.72% increase in just 1 year is a very significant jump. This is going to make the other NATO deadbeats (🇸🇮🇱🇺🇧🇪🇨🇦🇮🇹🇵🇹🇭🇷) look quite bad.
