As a kid I owned one game and played it for 500 hours.
Now I own 400 games and play each one for 20 minutes.
Finishing a game you stopped enjoying just because you paid for it is the most gamer thing there is.
Gaming at 20: “one last match” and suddenly it’s 4am.
Gaming at 40: “one last match” and suddenly I remember I have to be up at 7.

Henry Cavill has teamed up with Google to make an AI-powered game called Mustache Protocol.
You play as Cavill, fighting enemies who want to get rid of everyone’s mustaches. It’s a fun nod to his infamous CGI mustache removal in Justice League.
He used Google’s AI tools and Google will donate $11 for every playthrough to Movember, up to a total of $500,000, supporting men’s health causes.
The game is coming to mobile and tablets.
Kids today will never know the fear of someone picking up the phone while you were downloading a game.
Got into the playtest for a game I wasn’t expecting much from.
Not gonna lie, it’s way more addictive than it has any right to be.
Still rough around the edges, but @EchofallGames are for sure on the right path.
Game is Deepward.
Demo available on Steam if you'd like to try it 👇

WoW Forever launched last night.
People I hadn’t heard from in 10+ years just came back from the grave to haunt me.
I'm scared...
Switch 2 at 26.35 million.
Star Fox just did 1.17 million on top of it.
Nintendo keeps winning with games the West calls "kiddy".
Western AAA are cooked.

My horror game is too deeply personal for any AI to clone. It might clone the mechanics, but the story is all mine to tell and the scares are unlike else anything I've played.
I'm ignoring the advice to take the demo down post-Next Fest or risk being cloned. No, sir, the demo is staying up.
If you haven't played it yet, it's not too late to give it a try.

The highest rated game of 2026 came out in 1998.
Ocarina of Time remake. 96 on Metacritic.
Still waiting for that AAA from the last 3 years.

>I bought Phantom Blade 0 to stream it
>game spent AN HOUR compiling shaders
>played it for about 2 hours
>didn't like it
>didn't think i would get a refund since steam said 4 hours played
>filed ticket for a refund
>refund issued in 20 minutes
This is exactly why i love steam

So stop trying to win over random ass people.
For years I thought social media wasn't worth it.
I played games, I worked, I went home.
Why would anyone care?
At 42, starting a gaming account felt a bit ridiculous.
Then people started answering.
> Guys who also spent years on WoW.
> Indie devs who thanked me for a review and sent me keys for their games.
> People asking my for help to adjust their release goals.
Turns out I wasn't missing the posting. I was missing the conversation.
Now I check my replies before my coffee.
There aren't many yet, but it doesn't matter.
I really look forward to every one of them.
My wife is not impressed. 🤷♂️
