If you were young in 2001, or weren’t even born yet, it can be hard to imagine what 9/11 felt like. The shock of that beautiful, cloudless morning. The heartbreak of the families whose loved ones were taken with such swiftness and cruelty. The realization that the forces of malevolence and violence were closer, and the future less certain, than we knew.
But in the days that followed, we felt something else, too. Pride in the rescue workers who had rushed to the scene, and the passengers who had stormed the cockpit. Admiration for the men and women who left behind lives of comfort to serve their country. A deep resolve that nothing would break the will of a truly United States of America.
Today Michelle and I are remembering those we lost that day, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed. We pray for their families. And we hope Americans everywhere remember the true lesson of 9/11: that we can survive even our darkest days as long as we move forward as one nation and one people.

Jesse Eisenberg says memorizing one Social Network scene ruined his showers for a month
"In The Social Network there's one scene, it's not even an important scene, it's a passing scene, but it had tons of computer language. And despite my appearance, posture and tone of voice, I don't know anything about computers"
"I had to memorize this technical paragraph, so every day in the shower I'm going over this paragraph. It ruined a month of showers for me. Normally I like the heat and the steam, open your pores. But this one, I'm just standing there shampooing my head going over it"
"Isn't it a shame to look like me and not know about computers? It's like the equivalent of being 7'2 and not being good at basketball"

Crazy part of the current world cup is that there are several impressive US stadia that are not in this line up.
US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis
Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis
Allegiant Stadium, Vegas
Louisiana Super dome, New Orleans
I don't think anyone does Stadia better...

The Hacks finale was great but I don’t like how they built up Homelander for five seasons only to have Deborah easily take him out like that

Vance publicly lectured the Pope on theology.
Trump posted an image depicting himself as Christ.
Hegseth quoted a fake Bible verse during a Pentagon presser because he saw it in "Pulp Fiction" and thought it was a real verse.
These people claim to be defending Christianity.

I’ve watched IU lose at home to Ball State.
I’ve watched Wisconsin score 83 points on our head.
I’ve watched IU sneak by Akron in 4 OTs just TWO years ago.
Nothing and I truly mean nothing about this season would be a “disappointment”
You don’t hate ESPN enough.

In 1988 Hunter S. Thompson coined the phrase "The New Dumb" (look it up). It's the thing he was most right about in his whole career. That's the world in which we live today. Which is why it makes no sense.

The Colts will only say "sense of urgency" and won't say "Playoffs or Bust" for next season because that indicates a potential consequence, and as we've seen, there are no real consequences with this franchise.

Absolutely insane. What if we change absolutely nothing but see if different results occur.
I’m just gonna guess they’ll be somewhere around .500 with some good games against good opponents but injuries and late season struggles caught up to them. But let me tell you about 2027
#Colts GM Chris Ballard and coach Shane Steichen will return for the 2026 season, per sources. Owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon will speak to the media tomorrow.

As my friend, just pointed out:
The Colts season ended before the Hoosiers’ did.
What is the world?

From ESPN Research: the Colts are the first team in the Super Bowl era to at one point be 6 games over .500, and then end the season with a losing record.

Jacksonville 2006? That’s about the only defensive game I can remember that was this bad.
Maybe Saints in 2011?
Defense doesn’t get worse than this.
