Hi Everyone, please I need your help. I’ve battled Keloid since I was 2 as a result of the first ear piercing which was done at birth and was done wrongly. My parents have gone through several options given to them and it keeps reoccurring. I’ve done several surgical removal that I can’t even keep count both in general hospitals and private hospitals and they always finish up with kenalog as usual, I did cryotherapy for 2years with a popular Bumps clinic and the pain from the procedure almost paralyzed the left part of my body as it became weaker and I couldn’t use it, still it resurfaced. Since 2015 I’ve been in and out of the hospital over this keloid, one general hospital suggested removing the whole ear which might cause another issue as it could still grow again. I’ve been going through excruciating pains, every single day of my life I’m in pains, I’ve been popping painkillers like who’s taking candy, I barely sleep at night Most days I’m awake till morning, once it’s night I get scared cos the pains becomes unbearable. Sometimes I take sleeping pills just to get through the night. I can’t go out, I can’t even show up for my business, my parents and siblings have had to give up their finances every single year because of me. Last year November, my sister single-handedly took care of the bills for the procedure I did. At some point the Keloid started to accumulate abscess, it becomes so much that I’ve had to go through drainage process, I did one last year as well. And all of these have made the keloid very aggressive and it grows faster by the day, the last removal procedure I did was in April of last year, the growth you’re seeing in frame 1 is just 1year and 7months growth which is unusually fast. Since I finished my service year I’ve been at home because I couldn’t work with this condition, I even had to let go of a few job opportunities I was recommended for with the hope of getting this done before I fully commit. A doctor I met recommended LASUTH earlier this year and since May I’ve been trying to get booked for surgery, initially I was booked for surgery but I wasn’t told everything it entailed, my first surgery date was September 11th and it was moved later on due to the strike. I was opportuned to secure a consultation again with the Burns and Plastic unit (BPSU) yesterday in LASUTH and the consultant put me through everything I needed for the keloid to not reoccur. He said I needed at least 2 Radiotherapy sessions of which one has to be done exactly 24hrs after the surgical removal and then another few weeks after. After which I have to undergo chemotherapy and then post op care which includes injections, drugs, silicone creams, and any other recommended care. The Radiotherapy is to be done in LUTH (I was given a reference letter for it) after making enquiries in LUTH, the estimate of one radiotherapy session was given at 2.5m, and I’ll be needing 2sessions which sums up to 5m. Then the surgery for the removal of the Keloid costs 1.2m and I’ve been able to come up with that. Then after the surgery I’m to undergo chemotherapy and post op care but I have not been told how much that would cost, so I am unsure of the entire cost of that but the estimation according to what I’ve researched is about 2m. LASUTH have given me November 19th for my next and last consultation before the removal and this simply means I have to come up with the money for everything before then. So in total what will be needed for the successful surgery and post op care is 8.2m of which I’ve already raised 1.2m and I’m left to source for 7m before the 19th of November. This was really really hard for me to do as I have never done this before but this is my last resort as I have exhausted all my options and I have spent more than 6months alone trying to get booked with LASUTH. Please help me get my life back together 🙏 Any amount will go a long way🙏 0427940035 Nancy Chidinma Wema Bank

Go to any football pitch in the world this evening. A dusty field in Lagos. A beach in Rio. A cage pitch in London. A narrow street in Cairo, Jakarta or Lima, with two stones and/or a stack of blocks for goalposts Wait for a free kick. You will probably see a boy step back, plant his feet wide apart, puff out his chest, take a deep breath and stare at the ball like it owes him money. You know exactly who he is copying. Cristiano Ronaldo retired from international football today. 23 years with Portugal. 146 goals in 234 games, more than any man in history. And I promise you, that boy on the street doesn't know half of those numbers. He doesn't need to. He knows the stance. He knows the "Siuuu." He knows the man. That's enough. That is what I want to talk about today. Not what Ronaldo did for Portugal. What he did for the boy watching from thousands of kilometres away. Think about it. Some of the people reading this were children when Ronaldo made his Portugal debut in 2003. Some weren't even born. For an entire generation, he has always been there. Every summer tournament, every big night, every argument about who is the greatest. Football without Ronaldo is something millions of fans have simply never known. Every young player knows the story by now. The skinny boy from Madeira, laughed at for his accent in Lisbon. The boy who stayed behind after training. The one who did sit-ups in his room at night. The ice baths, the diet, the gym when everyone else had gone home. Whether every detail of that story is true or not, the lesson landed in every corner of the world: talent alone is not enough. You have to outwork everybody. And he kept proving it. He was still scoring for his country at 40, still winning a Nations League final at 40. Players are supposed to fade by 33. He made "old" look like a choice. It went beyond the pitch too. A generation learned from him that a footballer can be a brand. That your body is your business. That how you speak, how you dress and how you carry yourself matters as much as your first touch. He became the first person in the world to reach one billion followers across social media. One billion. That is not a fanbase. That is a planet. Now, let me be honest with you. Not every boy copying the free kick stance will become a professional. Most won't. But many of them will take something from him that lasts longer than football. Discipline. Self-belief. Showing up every day, even when nobody is watching. That is a legacy you can't count in goals. So to every boy standing with his legs apart before a free kick this evening, in Lagos, in Rio, in London or anywhere else, keep doing it. Just remember the part of the story that happened when the cameras were off. Obrigado, Cristiano. My name is Ajoje. I am a FIFA Licensed Agent and International Sports Lawyer. I write on the Law and Business of Football, a lot. Repost and Follow if you want to read more posts like this.

WE SAW YOUR COMMENTS. YOU SPOKE, WE LISTENED. And now… WE BUILT IT. The latest Lagos Run update is LIVE with features you asked for. Danfo Radio, Driver’s Seat View, Desktop & Tablet Mode. Your feedback is shaping the game. ❤️ lagos-run-opal.vercel.app
Congratulations to @eureka_seamless Funny thing is, I had already built something similar, but I kept waiting for it to be “perfect” before putting it out there. Meanwhile, he shipped his. Lesson learned: ship it. On to the next one. lagos-run-opal.vercel.app/

Skill issue. Literally. Claude can build you world class designs, but you need a system that works. First, you need to give it a reference design. Go to Behance, Dribbble, awwards, or mobbin. design and pick a few websites you like. Screenshot and send it to Claude, and ask it to identify the patterns that stand out in each. Next is skills. Install the following skills into your claude code 1. /Taste 2. /emil-kowalski 3. /Impeccable 4. /apple-design-hig The last one is a personal fork of the popular /apple-design skill. That's how you build websites that look like this: hire.trustverifi.com And gethismoney.xyz/ship-with-fa… I shared all this skills on my free AI class over the weekend. Comment below if you want the Notion doc, and I'll send it to you.
Claude btw, just dey use am build....e too useless for design 😭😭😭

4 weeks ago, I started building Fastpay, a fintech mobile app, in public. I’ve worked on fintech applications for companies before, so the idea of building another fintech app wasn’t because I wanted to learn what a wallet, card, or transfer flow looks like. I wanted something I could put in my portfolio that actually shows how I approach building a complete fintech product, from the mobile interface to the backend systems behind it. So I started Fastpay from scratch. The first few days were mostly about getting the foundation right: setting up the Flutter application, authentication, OTP verification, PIN sign-in, and the Go + Gin + PostgreSQL backend. Then the project started becoming much more interesting. I began building the actual financial flows one by one, though I focused on internal wallet infrastructure and mocked external payments: sending and requesting money, deposits, QR payments, cards, transactions, currency exchange, IBAN and SWIFT transfers, phone top-ups, and scheduled transfers. And with every feature, I had to think beyond the screen. How should the API handle the transaction? What happens if a request is sent twice? What data should the backend store? How should the mobile app respond to different states? How should authentication and authorization be handled? At the same time, I paid a lot of attention to the UX. I wanted Fastpay to feel better to use, not just function correctly. I spent time simplifying flows, reducing unnecessary steps, improving how information is presented, and making different parts of the app feel consistent. That has probably been one of the most valuable parts of building Fastpay: taking the fintech patterns I’ve already experienced and rethinking how I would design and build them myself. I’ve also built the less visible parts of the product: analytics, notifications, security and privacy settings, device and session history, personal details, notification preferences, language settings and other account management flows. I’ve been sharing the process almost every day for the last 4 weeks, documenting how the product has evolved feature by feature. Fastpay is still a portfolio project, and I’m not building it with the intention of launching it as a fintech company. I’m building it to push my engineering skills, experiment with different approaches, and have a project that represents the kind of software I’m capable of building, both technically and from a UX perspective. I’m wrapping up the Fastpay build this week, and I’m looking forward to sharing the final result and everything that went into building it. I’m Ahiakwo John, a fullstack web and mobile app developer with over 4 years of experience, passionate about using technology and AI to build useful products. I’m open to collaboration and opportunities.
