To better understand how messed up Europe is, take a look at the same data for other countries. Isn’t that really eye-opening? These countries don’t need absurd taxes to finance the state spending out of proportion to private economy. That’s one of the main reasons why Europe‘s growth has been lagging behind others, making Europeans poorer.
The money needed to finance the army of people dependent on the state in Europe drains the real economy’s needs for innovation, investment and jobs creation. Others invest in progress and prosperity, Europe spends its resources on regulations, administrative bureaucracy, pensions and lifelong welfare for everyone who wants to come to Europe, regardless if legally or not.
The wealth gap between Europe , the US and Asia will simply keep widening. You cannot tax yourself in prosperity, prosperity must be created, not redistributed. Hopefully the US, Canada, Australia and others won’t follow the European path from free market prosperity to socialist poverty.
The point of no return by Richard von Mises is worth reading:
"A state becomes almost unreformable when the majority of the population is financially or structurally dependent on the state (state employees, civil servants, recipients of subsidies, grants, or transfer payments, etc.). As soon as those who net benefit from or are supported by the state outnumber those who do not, the system blocks reforms, since the majority votes out of self-interest for the preservation or expansion of state services."
Does this sound familiar? Some European countries, France, Belgium, Finland are already way beyond that point, closely followed by Germany, Spain, Austria and Italy. It works for a while, as long as markets buy more sovereign debt at reasonable interest rates. The party ends when they stop though. For France, they stopped this month, Belgium will be next.
The longer the socialist illusion persists, the more painful the inevitable cuts and adjustments will be. It’s pure arithmetic. Good luck Europe, good luck Euro. Buckle up, it won’t be pretty.

Keith McCullough: The AI bubble is already bursting, and the worst may still be ahead.
I spoke with Hedgeye founder Keith McCullough as markets took another beating, and even he was caught off guard.
He had invested in Brazil ahead of the election. Lula won, Brazilian stocks plunged, and Keith took a painful loss.
But his bigger concern is America.
He believes the AI bubble is already collapsing beneath the surface, with some of the most speculative stocks down roughly 75% from their peaks.
Meanwhile, oil remains above $100, inflation is accelerating, and another war with Iran could leave the Federal Reserve unable to rescue markets.
Keith thinks U.S economic growth could fall from nearly 4% to just 1% within nine months.
Ordinary families are already struggling with prices, job insecurity and the cost of war. Now the wealth created by the AI boom could start disappearing, too.
And Keith fears that if Washington responds by bailing out wealthy investors again, the public backlash could be enormous.

🚨💥 BOOM: University of Chicago student just filed a Senate ETHICS COMPLAINT against Sen. Elissa Slotkin after she told a room full of students she wants to SCARE them out of serving their country.
Here’s exactly what she said on Oct 13:
“I want young people coming out of school to say, ‘Should I go work for the Trump administration?’ I want them to be like, ‘Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want.’”
Then she doubled down: “I want that deterrence message sent.”
This isn’t about crime or accountability. It’s about using the threat of investigations and prosecutions to intimidate young Americans away from public service if they support the wrong president.
Michael Bicksel was in the room, recorded it, reported it, and is now holding her accountable with a formal ethics complaint.
Flip the parties and Chuck Schumer would be losing his mind on the Senate floor.
Investigate her. Demand answers.
Who else thinks this crosses a line? 👇

This is not religion. It is a political ideology that places its rules above your rights and answers “insults” with violence. It is incompatible with democracy and freedom.
Import the ideology, import the violence.

BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.

National Review has identified court documentation showing that Cledith Arthur, Donna Arthur's husband, was indicted by a grand jury in 1978 for sexual contact with Acton.
NR also found that Donna Arthur pled guilty to theft in 1996 and was accused of animal abuse in 2021.

500,000 migrants a year. French people fleeing their own cities. A 2050 minority projection.
And a government more interested in silencing the people who speak up than fixing ANY of it.

🚨 Paris is on fire as rioters take over across France:
Over 500,000 people have taken to the streets across France. Protesters and rioters have set fire to historic buildings, destroyed famous statues, and looted thousands of stores.
Police have been seen driving away after being attacked and overwhelmed by the number of rioters as clashes broke out across every major city in France.
Let this be a warning sign for the rest of the West: Hundreds of years of work and preservation gone in one day.
