Upon further review, Zach Bolduc lost the puck entering the blueline on his shootout attempt, therefore the play is dead. No goal.

Seeing a lot of fans overreacting to Folwer's quote.
The reality is: Jacob Fowler is an NHL-calibre goaltender.
He proved it again last night in Laval's 2-0 loss.
If he wasn't upset about being sent down, it would be more concerning to me honestly.

There was a reason the Canadiens wanted both Marchenko and Knies.
The irony is the reason they didn’t get either one is because they didn’t have a Marchenko or Knies to trade.
On to the next target.

A big reason for the trade imbalance? We were buying oil at below market rates from Canada. We had a sweat heart deal. Take oil imports out of it and we had a trade surplus. This thing with Canada is moronic. And the people buying into Trump's bizarre misunderstanding of basic facts and economics are telling on themselves.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
US Census Bureau data shows the average annual US goods trade deficit with Canada was about $38 billion over 2016-2025, not $60 billion. Much of the deficit is from energy imports; excluding them the US has typically run a surplus.

Dear Ted,
I’m a Republican.
Los Angeles is roughly 50% Democratic and about 10% Republican. Any candidate who wants to lead this city must win support well beyond the Republican base.
Spencer Pratt didn’t lose because voters didn’t understand he was independent. He lost because he failed to persuade enough voters that he should be mayor.
Calling every election result you dislike “corruption” doesn’t make it so.
Sometimes the simpler explanation is the correct one: the candidate you supported wasn’t able to build a majority coalition in Los Angeles.

Boomers: “Houses aren’t unaffordable. Stop eating out. Stop buying coffee. Learn to budget.”
Also Boomers: “I can’t afford the property taxes on my fully paid off house.”
Sir.
You own the house free and clear.
No mortgage. No interest. No lender.
And the tax bill alone is breaking you.
But you want me to believe the problem is my Chipotle order.
The same system that’s pricing you out of a house you already own is the same system pricing us out of one we’re trying to buy.
Maybe it was never about the avocado toast.

A lot of people are missing the plot on the ECF…
1)this is the very beginning of the window for the Habs
2)it’s glaring in a series like this what pieces the Habs still don’t have
3)Carolina is REALLY good
We all would’ve taken round 3 back in September. #GoHabsGo

Spoke about this yesterday in my write up for the Habs, but the Habs also just had a huge advantage all series on high danger chances, and in a series as tight as this one was, capitalizing on those great scoring chances is what flips the result.
104 high danger chances for Buffalo compared to 97 for Montreal but the Habs converted 16.49% into 16 goals in this series while Buffalo only scored 8.65% for 9 goals all series. Big saves, and big finishing ability are why the Habs move on. Corsi doesn’t win cups.

There are only three defensemen in the world (Q. Hughes, Makar, Werenski) that I’d be confident are better than L. Hutson at this point.
I think you could make a case for his impact vs. any of Heiskanen, Seider, Sanderson, Bouchard, Dahlin, McAvoy, etc.
Superstar.
