Also there’s no Santa Claus and the Bruce Willis character was actually dead all along in The Sixth Sense.
Thanks a lot.
As read it’s not about worship.
It’s closer to, I know my neighbor has a car but I choose to believe they don’t. Logically it’s no odder than choosing to believe in God but not finding the proofs compelling but I can relate to the latter where the former leaves me confused.

I know for sure He is there but I choose not to believe just to be contrary?

I went to a casino night playing limit poker. The ante was tiny and there were a zillion players. Winning a hand seemed toytally random. Mysteriously at the end of the night 2 or 3 guys had everyone’s money.
That said with poker the trick is knowing what a good game is.

John Tower not getting confirmed by the Senate. I mean, like a vivid memory not confused by re-reading about it later.
Mainly because-(not making this up) I wrote a poem for HS English about it. (Bush standing like a tree…) :-). My teacher wasn’t as amused as I was.

super confusing. Assistants were told theyd get them. Did someone say they wouldnt? Some employees (assistants?) heard they wouldn’t - the same one who were told they would? Or different employees? Other teams give rings to some - is that including assistant?

Misanthropists the world over get a moment of excitement before being disappointed . That’s a great napkin.

People like you ruining a good laugh are everything wrong with the Internet. That said, yeah, you’re probably right on this one. I hope you are. It’d be hilarious if you weren’t

On one level saying excuse me as you pass a boulder is no more sensible then the person who curses out a stone they trip over - on the other hand which person would you rather be stuck in a car for a long trip with?

I understand that’s pretty close to how Japan handles capital punishment. The condemned are given a couple of hours notice and the hung. After the fact the family and lawyers are informed

Read something for fun. Even something educational. Say one of those books by Tyson on astronomy. It’ll be fun and you’ll be convinced you’ve learned something. Wait a week. Explain to someone else what you know.
Concepts without a vice grip on fundamentals is ephemeral.

I’m not an educator. As a student and in life though I gotta go through something 10 times just unthinkingly - just cookbook- before the patterns of deeper understanding start to take hold. I don’t own it until then.
I could be different though.

I tried to make it through the first season. Did it go where I was thinking? No clue because they so managed to convince me that it was I ended up not caring enough to find out.
Why did I get the same vibe as Succession- that it would end up affirming a political view.
