According to court records, Bryant Najera Gonzalez used social media, direct messaging, and other means of communication to coerce, induce, and entice children to create and send him child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Gonzalez also discussed extorting his minor victims by, among other things, threatening to send sexually explicit images to the victims’ families. Based on Gonzalez’s online activities, law enforcement believes Gonzalez is associated with nihilistic violent extremist (NVE) ideology such as “764.”

Deputy Sheriff Hislope served for over 6 years, and Deputy Sheriff Ramirez served for 11 months. They were both United States Army veterans.
