Sam’s Club and Walmart just announced today that you get free Walmart+ with a Sam’s Plus membership and I know I’ve finally hit adulthood because I have been this excited about something in months.
As a small business owner, I have a hard time being upset that a company is simply informing more customers that their product - in its current form - meets their dietary restrictions.
I am not a vegetarian or gluten free, but I do notate on our menus which items are so that customers who are gluten free or vegetarian know at first glance which of our selections work for them.
The vast majority of cheese are inherently Halal due to the fermenting process used. Same with many other foods you typically eat.
Now, land meats - ie beef, chicken, pork - do require a formal “blessing” and specific slaughtering process to be considered halal.
But your produce, dairy, grains, whatever - they can still be considered halal without any blessing required.
Tillamook Cheese did not change their fermenting process to specifically cater to a halal customer base. They simply placed a graphic on their packaging to inform customers of their operations.
Sorry guys, but that’s just capitalism 101.

After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines,
I’m officially declaring myself a @WNBA prospect.
If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.
My team and I have carefully examined the WNBA’s eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion. Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WNBA draft in April 2027.
I know my presence on the court will stir up strong opinions.
I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or disrespect any community or personal choices.
I’m simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone — the rules that represent the very values many WNBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for.
My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally, consistently, and without exception, and I look forward to the #WNBA honoring its stated principles.

Almost a dozen women in Charlotte were attacked. Their most vulnerable moments caught on camera and posted for the world to see. The @CMPD and the local news media refused to cover the story as women walked around the city completely unknowing this was happening.
We found out tonight on 𝕏.
These attacks were in some of the most affluent and “safest” areas of town. The CMPD finally released a statement after they detained him and placed him in a mental facility - not even a jail cell. He had been arrested 14 times prior to today’s custody.
Since I’m technically an expert in the burrito field, I figured it’s time I weigh in on the great 𝕏 BurritoGate of 2026.
We sell our burritos for $13. We use the large tortillas and for the majority of folks, they’re large enough for two meals. Especially if you get a side with them. Any “boutique” Mexican joint you go to that’s pricing them at $20 - you’re paying for the atmosphere and experience. Not just the food.
On the other hand, claiming that you paid $20 to make 8 of them - the term “burrito” is doing some heavy lifting there. You made some bean and cheese roll ups with a dash of spicy meat and called it burrito. Which is fine - do what you need to feed your family. But they’re technically not a burrito.

I just read through the DSA's new platform.
It is the most utopian/dystopian, bat-sh*t insane thing I have ever read.
It includes:
1. No more bills for anyone
2. Government-run food, housing, medicine, transportation, and nationalizing all other large corporations and essential industries
3. The drafting of a “new constitution”
4. Defunding the Department of War
5. Slavery reparations
6. Unlimited free abortion and “gender-affirming care” for all, including minors
7. Have taxpayers pay off everyone’s entire student debt & fund unlimited “free” higher education for all
8. Taking “steps toward fully abolishing the police and prison system”
9. Ending ALL deportations, providing amnesty for ALL illegal immigrants, and allowing unlimited migration to America
10. Abolish the Presidency, Supreme Court, and Senate
Other than that, their plans seem super realistic, practical, and not at all naive, revolutionary, or dystopian.

Everyone wants to talk about how “ARFID wasn’t a thing when I was a kid”. When we were kids, autism was 1 in 10,000. Now it’s 1 in 36.
On a side note completely unrelated, of course - children also received less than 20 vaccinations when we were kids. Now there’s almost 100 on the CDC childhood schedule.
