there's subtitles for the calls you get from your manager, but since your visual input is quite limited it helps a lot to wear headphones because the audio spatialization can guide you in places where the visor is lacking

i shelved it because i got to a point where the story was just too muddled and i had no idea what i was doing with it. it was a fun concept at the time but didn't actually have a solid narrative backbone and i've grown a lot as a gamedev since then
