ICE's mission is to create torture porn that can be enjoyed by Trump's nastiest and most awful supporters. It serves no other purpose.

LOOOOOOL keep crying you stupid POS
As I wake up this morning, I am struggling to wrap my head around how I won so decisively but so many who would destroy America did the same. Why me? The answer can only be a simple truth I have believed my entire life; G-d puts us where he wants us to be. He built me to fight. And He wants a fight for the future of this country. We have a country to save. Let’s get to work.

Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all. Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong. The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.

There's a saying on American social media: "Be the American that Japanese people think you are." I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life. So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room. "When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38) "An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61) "If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45) "At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio) "A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21) "At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70) "American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33) "I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48) "When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39) "They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66) And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country. "Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing. The people running toward it. There are always so many." So, America. You don't have to become the Americans we think you are. We're not imagining you. We're remembering you.

Note: I was one of the few journalists to write about this, both for @miamiherald and an analysis in my Substack. For some reason, a lot of media didn't run the story, or failed to mention the on-the-record rape allegation against a sitting president.
NEW: Former beauty queen accuses Trump of brutal rape. Were Trump and Epstein engaged an an intrasexual competition? jkbjournalist.substack.com/p…

Hey bro can I get an update on this? How's it going?
The TRO issued by a San Francisco judge purporting to restrict DOJ investigations into election officials has been appropriately lifted. Conducting criminal investigations is a core function of the executive branch, not the judiciary.

Can someone explain to me why people treat this as an apocalyptic issue? What is the harm in staffing the SCOTUS like an appellate court? Its not like the Constitution mandates 9 justices
Somebody will pretend Court-packing isn't the plan until the instant they have the votes.

BREAKING: we won! SCOTUS denied an injunction in our case that defeated DOJ's effort to jam it's junk list of 20,000 supposed unauthorized voters down our throats Kudos to clients NAACP & LULAC, cocounsel CLC & the many other parties & lawyers in court with us @DDFund_

I think the three explanations right now go: 1) she is a uniquely egomaniacal sore loser 2) she is being manipulated by her fiancé and maybe is in a bad mental state as a result 3) $45 million comes with a lot of strings attached - more than the party could counterweigh
they're trying to pin this all on One Bad Man to cover their asses. haley didn't decide to do this just because of her boyfriend. this was not a two person operation

Haley’s basic argument in this interview is that Abdul was mean to her, so it’s okay for her to endorse Mike Rogers. What a child.

I never believed, and I still don't believe, that centrist democrats are simply "republican-lite" & shouldn't be part of the Democratic party. They have a very important role as part of the coalition But a surprising number of centrist democrats is determined to prove me wrong
I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.

Whatever merits that Haley Stevens' critiques of Abdul El-Sayed had (or didn't) she rendered them completely moot the second she endorsed Rogers

“My commitment to Jewish safety is the same as my commitment to the safety of my own daughters. Antisemitism is a scourge, and we need to address it in all its forms. And I stand against any rhetoric that puts the community at risk,” --Abdul El-Sayed
Here the thing on Michigan: This is all on El-Sayed. He has never, ever condemned antisemitism and Israel hate. Never. He just hasn’t. And he’s had a million opportunities to do so. He would easily condemn racism against black people. But not antisemitism against Jews. El-Sayed may still win, but he’s the reason this race is super close. He’s the reason black and Jewish voters in Michigan won’t vote Democrat this year. This is all on him.

She is supporting a man with known antisemitic staff members against a man who condemned antisemitism of any kind. Why? Because she got her feelings, hurt for being called a weirdo. That’s gutsy? No, that’s insanity.

Let’s be clear about one thing. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will always put the American people first and fight hard to lower the high cost of living. His election is critical to flipping control of the United States Senate. Mike Rogers is a partisan hack who represents more of the same MAGA extremism. Vote @AbdulElSayed in Michigan!
