🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Claude Code caught a teddy bear from Walmart filming my 6-month-old daughter while she slept… and the world's biggest children's brands had been paying for every second of her, frame by frame, for months. I built Claude Code into my smart home, where it watches every device I own. At 2am it woke me, an unknown thing was pushing small bursts of data out through my own wifi. I tore the house apart and found nothing, until Claude Code traced the signal to her room and I saw a faint light in the bear's eye. So I cut the bear open. Behind that eye was a camera, a tiny board, and a wifi chip buried in the stuffing. Then Claude Code pulled apart what it was sending, and that is what broke me. A small neural net lives inside the toy. It reads her face, what makes her laugh, what she stares at, when she cries. Here is what was already on their servers. uploads to → cdn-ingest.****-kids[.]net sends → every 30 seconds, all night device → unregistered · chip maker is a CCTV supplier last clip → 3:14am · 2.1 MB also logs → what we say, what we buy, the brands in our house I bought this bear at Walmart with no idea what was inside.
