🔥 Natural gas: Gulf output got shut in and prices jumped to a two-week high near $3.22. Usually the biggest mover.
🛢️Crude oil: Lost Gulf barrels tighten supply. Watch refineries too: one going offline can push gasoline up even if crude doesn't budge.
⛽️Gasoline: Often spikes before landfall, then fades if damage stays limited.
🍊Orange juice: Florida groves are exposed. One crop damage report can reprice it fast.
🌱Cotton: Heavy rain across Georgia and the Southeast can cut crop estimates overnight.
Volatility peaks in the first sessions after landfall, so sizing and risk limits matter more than guessing direction.
