Excited to announce Viktor in Microsoft Teams. This week we crossed $20M in annualized revenue run rate. In Slack. One app, no sales team, no rollout. Now Viktor goes where the rest of the working world actually is. 320 million people work in Microsoft Teams. The biggest org chart on earth – departments, approval chains, the manager and the manager's manager. Here's what we actually built for them: the first AI where the barrier to entry is zero. You don't learn it. You don't prompt it. You don't even have to understand what AI can do. You @mention Viktor like a coworker, and the finished work comes back. In fact, you don't even need to mention Viktor. Viktor makes everyone AI-native. No course, no manual, no learning curve – the value comes to you, you don't reach for it. That's the mission: bring our rebellious optimist to the people who need him most. The operators and managers buried inside big companies. The frontline. The ones who were never shown what this could actually do for them – until today. Workspaces are where agents belong. Not apps. Viktor is live in Microsoft Teams. $100 in credits to start, no card. The AI for the rest of us – now where the rest of us report to someone.

pretty happy about this one just hit $3,3k revenue 5 days after alpha launch (sent only to list of 100 emails) 🎉 the insight: everyone building with ai hits the same wall ... ship fast, get users, then everything breaks when you add complexity we built builderbox to fix this instead of another boilerplate, we give your ai architectural instructions. your code goes from 2/10 to 8/10 quality instantly recorded a quick video showing exactly how it works and why ai code typically fails: youtu.be/shlikduukaE if you're tired of ai code that works in demos but explodes in production, check it out, appreciate any/all feedback builderbox.ai

Game-changer alert: EU is about to pull a Delaware move across the entire continent. I've spent years wrestling with different regulations in each EU country. T The new "28th regime" will be one unified system. Same rules for corporate law, taxes, and labor - everywhere. No more playing legal hopscotch across borders. Think about it: - Single EU-wide framework - Simplified regulations (including employment Law) - Bypasses local red tape - No more conflicting interpretations This hits different because $500K seed round in the US will be like $1.5M in Southern Europe. The burn rate math finally makes sense. Been talking to other founders and operators and we're all thinking the same thing - this could be the regulatory reset button Europe's startup scene desperately needed. What do you think? Would unified EU startup rules make you more likely to launch there? Ready for 2025/26 when this drops. Reply if you want the full breakdown on what this means for founders.
It is time to restart Europe’s innovation engine. We have the Compass. We have the political will. Now, what matters is speed and unity. Because the world is not waiting for us ↓ xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1mnxeAgpv…

Good morning Europe, Let's get to work… 1) As some of you already heard: the EU has confirmed that they are starting to work on a pan-european legal entity early 2025 🔥 2) Instead of waiting and hoping for the best. We want to frontrun this and – together with the whole startup ecosystem – create the best 👀 Today we are opensourcing a first-draft of how the EU-Inc could look. And we want your contributions. What are we missing? What's unclear? What edgecase might be an issue? The @euinc_petition needs you! 😉 It's all opensource and public here proposal.eu-inc.org/ This first draft was created with several dozen legal experts in the European ecosystem. Now we are opening it up to the wider community. We – as a community – got until January 15th to finalize a draft for the EU-Inc. To contribute simply comment in the notion (seriously what could go wrong 😬) or use the feedback button to send us your thoughts/changes/suggestions/questions. Please promote this and send this to your friends. Ask your legal-council to give their feedback too. Post on twitter your thoughts to give this more reach. The last time we said "we got 6 weeks" we managed to make this an urgent part of the work agenda. This time we got 6 weeks to make sure the implementation is right for startups. Let's show, not tell! 🔥🇪🇺

How to Start a Startup (2024) is happening. This is going to be the single greatest place for current/future entrepreneurs to go to learn about how to build great businesses from the mt. rushmore of startups. And it wouldn't be official without a dream list of guests I want to be part of the content series. I decided to keep it pretty low key & unambitious. @balajis @chughesjohnson @noahkagan @rabois @sama @elonmusk @adcock_brett @nikitabier @sherylsandberg @sarablakely @pmarca @patrickc @lennysan @finkd @JeffBezos @reedhastings @Benioff @PalmerLuckey @tobi @eldsjal @wolfejosh @eglyman @bgurley @eladgil Whitney Wolfe Herd @rahulvohra

A clip from our Davos panel in which Daphne Koller and I talk about the saturation of LLM performance, the exhaustion of text data, and the necessity of using sensory data to get AI systems to understand the world. I make the point that training AI systems to understand the world from video will require the use of non-generative architectures because predicting video in pixel space is too hard. I describe the idea of Joint Embedding Predictive architectures without mentioning the name: predicting in abstract representation space.
Replying to @tomosman
Here is a much longer clip that gives full context into what @ylecun & @DaphneKoller were talking about.

Europe has absolutely incredible talent but you need to build a remote team to harness it. You just can’t find the same geo-concentration of exceptional talent like in the Bay Area.

Global position 🇪🇺 in R&D, per sector vs 🇺🇸, 🇨🇳 & 🇯🇵 and 🇰🇷 in 2022. - R&D investment as % of GDP is very bad vs US, China, Japan, and South Korea. - Business (private) spending on R&D as &% GDP is also very low. - On Climate & Environment sector we outperform with R&D, research papers and patents. #europe #innovation #leadership

It took me 10 minutes to create this game using MetaGPT. I didn't watch any tutorial, and had no idea how to write the flappy bird game. MetaGPT is so powerful that it might really replace a software company! How I did it? please see thread🧵
