Solana Breakpoint is not a conference. It's a family reunion.

In an ideal world, I would have been leaving for @SolanaEvents Breakpoint tomorrow. But instead, I’d be watching the stream from home.

Another beautiful day wrapped up with all the people who showed up IRL at the Hacker House.

Agentic editing really can easily replace video editors. Genuinely can’t fathom how @bot conceptualized & edited the visuals for this video from scratch. I did zero manual work for this video.
Crypto marketing veteran @mauricedotxyz on whether is it worth it for marketing teams to spend mid five figures on a booth at crypto events. “9/10 teams don’t do anything fun or creative.” Edited & conceptualized by @bot.

If you’re talking about Solana, we’re all ears.

My favorite people at events are the ones who only care about pitching their products. It does not matter whether you’re already in an important conversation, they’ll need to interrupt you because nothing in this world is more important than what they are “building”.

few observations from a dedeep in the wild: - i don’t talk to enough people - people talk to other people, a lot. - i need to talk to more people - i actually don’t like talking to most people - some people are cool & are building cool things - i would like to build cool things with cool people - there are people who wear sunglasses indoors???????? - there are a lot of pretentious people in the space - i might look pretentious to other people Overall great experience, would do that again.
This is literally me at an event right now.

But what if you end up being a misfit in a place meant for misfits?

I am not here for free food or the open bar or the vibes, I am actually here to stand in the corner, scoff at others & play the part of a socially reclusive genius.

“You gotta rebuild your motion so they’d want to talk to you.” “But why would I want anyone to talk to me” Turns out you have very interesting thoughts when others talk to each other while you are sitting in the corner

Bro that’s the thing about always having a mask on, no one knows how you look irl. So I just stand in the corner for 90% of times till I find someone who I actually know.

Every Hacker House brings together people with stories worth telling. Humans of Hacker House is our way of celebrating these people. EP - 1 @bangerz

Our little friend right here is building on Solana at the Hacker House. He also needs a co-founder for his startup. Who wants in?

One of the strangest things about this app is how casually you get accustomed to witnessing tragedy. There’s so much tragedy, death, doom and despair on here that eventually, some of it stops registering. The constant exposure desensitises you. Sometimes, it even makes the world feel like a hopeless place. But every once in a while, something cuts through that numbness and reminds you of just how fragile your own existence is. You could spend years making plans, postponing experiences, and convincing yourself that you’ll eventually get around to everything you’ve always wanted to do. And then, quite abruptly, you could run out of time. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I don’t think the answer is to start living with some frantic sense of urgency. I just think we should stop treating our own happiness as something we can indefinitely postpone. Take up that hobby. Read more books. Make more content. Ask that pretty person out. Flirt a little more. Watch the movies you’ve been putting off. Visit the places you’ve always wanted to see. Build the body you’ve always wanted. Learn a new sport. Take more chances in your professional and personal life. Call your friends and family more often. Make new friends. Fall in love. Have more sex. Pursue the things that make you feel genuinely happy to be alive. And do all of it at your own pace. I suppose what I’m trying to say is that you owe yourself the pleasure of actually experiencing the life you want to live. There’s something terribly sad about spending so much of our existence preparing for a future in which we’ll finally allow ourselves to enjoy it. We tend to imagine that life will eventually come to a gentle end, at an old age, surrounded by everyone we’ve ever loved. And I sincerely hope that’s how it happens for all of us. But sometimes, life ends on a random Tuesday while you’re crossing the road. And suddenly, all the things you were saving for someday become things you’ll never get to do.
