It was a privilege to witness a pivotal moment for Uganda’s creative sector. The @Inltradecenter (International trade center) TC, supported by the Mastercard Foundation (@MastercardFdn ) and Bayimba Foundation (@Bayimba ), presented the draft national strategy for the industry and formally handed it over to the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development( @Mglsd_UG ). (@OWC_ug ) Operation Wealth Creation’s Directorate of Creatives (@Owccreatives ), together with member-based organizations, is dedicated to partnering with key stakeholders to empower artists and guarantee household wealth creation throughout the creative ecosystem.

I had the honor of attending a networking dinner hosted by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, (@MoJCAUG ) Hon. @norbertmao , following the Symposium on Copyright and Related Management. The dinner brought together key international stakeholders and strategic players whose vision aligns closely with Operation Wealth Creation (@OWC_ug ) specifically, ensuring that every creator is empowered to generate sustainable wealth. By building key partnerships across the continent, our goal remains clear, to foster innovation, strengthen intellectual property management, and sustainably enhance the productivity of Africa’s creative sector.
